You dont have to hold your nxt now after the snapshot to get the free ignis, your nxt balance at the moment of the snapshot is all you need, check also here:

I think the devs said they would maintain the nxt wallet until a year from now, but won't make any enhancements to it from now on. After the year they won't support it any more.

It's a future so imo it says nothing. Don't get me wrong i'd love if it's so high but i don't expect it will stay around this point. Just managing my own expectations as a nxt holder haha.. let's hope 2018 wil start great for us with Ignis!
