I downloaded the Windows Wallet, I have follow the instructions from DAPS.com i.e. Bootstrap and Addnodes. Nothing helps the wallet refuse 0 connections to the network!

I bought some coins would be nice to move them from the exchange.

Please can someone reach out to me with an idea what to do next?

Mine is syncing just fine with the bootstrap!  First, close your peepcoin wallet.  Then, the easiest way to get to %appdata%: push the windows key and 'r' at the same time to open the run dialog, when that pops up.. type in %appdata%\peepcoin

As long as you have already run the peepcoin wallet, this folder will already exist.  Extract the files in the bootstrap zip to this folder and overwrite existing files when asked (there should be ~5 files or so to overwrite).

After that, just run the wallet again!  Mine has connections instantly.

Typically if you've got the peepcoin.conf in the proper %appdata%/Peepcoin folder, it will connect and begin syncing within 2-5 minutes. Did you open your wallet and let it connect?

Have you placed the bootstrap and config file in the same directory as the wallet is running from? Have you disabled your antivirus, and allowed the peepcoin-qt.exe through the firewall?

If you have done all of those correctly, we can try to get you a more proper step-by-step help 24/7 in the discord or telegram chat. =)

On the one hand, Peercoin is an interesting cryptographic development, which seems to have all the chances to take a prominent place in the ranking of digital currencies. This is not another clone of the cue ball, which is so much on the market, but a truly unique project. On the other hand, there is a tough market with high competition, where new promising projects are constantly emerging. To stay here is extremely difficult.

We hope that the know-your-developer process and the governance makes us stand out amongst other projects, outside of the unique specs for DAPS.

Yes I have done all that, but I wont sync down in the corner of the wallet it says “0 active connections to PeerCoin Network”
After unzip the Botstrap it shows 292 files.
The old files that I delite, I cant get rid of them they come back always after I open the wallet.

Here I had to load the whole block for more than one day, there was also a problem. In similar projects I downloaded the file of all the blocks in 5 minutes, and everything worked there, this file was updated daily. Maybe the file is very large?

Ah yes, the sync process slows significantly towards the end of the sync. This is a known issue, we hope that the new precompiled binaries will sync much quicker in practice. =) With a fresh install and the april 2nd bootstrap, I was able to sync in about ~2 hours. So just be patient and it should work relatively quickly. If you need the bootstrap you can find it on the wallets page of dapscoin.com https://dapscoin.com/wallets/

The goal is that it won't swap, due to the coins being inactive. There's the chance the dev wakes up from a coma and we have an apocalypse scenario of him swapping and/or dumping, but that's the risk we take. It's either we try or just let people buy his coins and work from there. Not much else we can do, I don't want to have any "manual" human part of the swap process. It must be trustless.

You and your group of admins in telegram are pathetic and arrogant especially when someone starts talking about this and not "hyping" your coin.

That images you've linked is evidence of the coinexchange wallet being used as a hot wallet. A hot wallet mixes transactions out to unrelated wallets for the sake of simplicity for exchanges. You cannot seem to understand this from the explanation I gave to you as well, which is rather clear in those pictures you include. Thanks for providing pictures of me being nice and transparent with you about the #1 wallet status and it being used as a hot wallet. =) You failed to include the part where you continued to be needlessly hostile and rude and claimed we were participating in a price fixing conspiracy, since you know that's slander.

I wouldn't delete your post from here, since all you've done is post an image that directly shows coinexchange using the #1 wallet as a hot wallet. Nice "smoking gun". Also since you're a newbie account I'll quote your post and get the images through for you~ =)

Why do you also fail to mention how I addressed your concerns and asked you to tell me who it was you thought participated in hyping? That wouldn't fit in with what you're portraying, of course.

The third edition of the DAPS newsletter is coming out tomorrow! We are starting to get into a groove with releasing these. Remember they include project updates and some status reports.

We've also made some changes to the website, and will be doing more work. You'll notice a language switcher is now included, and we've begun the process of translating important information to international languages.

The Peepcoin wallet is going well, I think the community is going to love the new look and feel. We are currently doing testing on Windows and will be finishing on Mac/Linux, when this is done we will have a unified release of Peepcoin wallets. After this is finished we will move to the "Upgrade" phase of Peepcoin wallets. The completion of the "Upgrade" phase will tick off most of our Pre-DAPS roadmap list (Peepcoin infrastructure, wallet updates) and allow us to focus entirely on DAPS. If you're interested in joining us, please contact me. Remember the governance is required reading and we have ID verification for all developers, and anyone with DAPS source access in the future must sign an NDA. Things are going well, but we always want to expand our team further.

We've also begun aggressively expanding the non-development parts of the team, focusing on international outreach and support. Lots of non-english speakers struggle with tech support being conducted in English, so we hope to help alleviate this going forward. We have a Dutch, Russian, and German telegram setup so far, with others coming as soon as we have dedicated members of the language sphere. If you're fluent in Korean, contact me!

We are always looking for more exchanges as well, with prior on-site swap guarantees. We hope to have Peepcoin listed on as many exchanges as possible which work with us actively.

I say 2nd half of 2018 to give us some flexibility, I don't expect it'll take beyond October to launch the coin and start the swap, for what it's worth.

Any updates on the timeline and such will be given to the community, I give that timeframe so we have some flexibility incase we go faster or slower than anticipated~

Hey guys pretty interested in this project.  Reminds me of PIVX in the early days (I remember hearing about pivx at a penny last year...didnt get in )
Anyway got a major question, why is TOR involved at all?  From what I have read TOR has a lot of .gov all over it, from its development, to if they can actually track you and so on.
