Is NANO (RaiBlocks) the best currency in crypto?

The project develops gradually, but the price does not react to it, and continues to downtrend. IMHO the growth of NANO will start when BTC starts to grow too.

The same we can say about any coin from top300. Now you can buy absolutely any. And I'm sure that it will be pumped after BTC rally up. Nano is good. I watch for Raiblocks but don't participate in the faucet. And now I'm sad 

There are so many small things here in crypto that we didn't give attention and if we know that there is a faucet of this Nano would you think you will take ut or younwill just ignore it because i have seen many stories that it was not available in the exchange on that years.

Once a great project but after the bitgrail incident, everything changed. Trust issue is now present and it could be a barrier for investors to avoid putting up their investments. (especially to new crypto investors)
Though on my personal preference, I would still look forward to Nano. I'm sure they have already learned their lesson.

Is NANO really the best crypto(currency) right now? As in pure currency, since it contains almost instant transcations speeds, has up to 7000 tx/s, no transaction fees, every wallet has a blockchain of its own and a very easy to set up a Node with the wallet meaning more decentralized network.

This puts it ahead of XRP in terms of decentralization, as well as XLM in tx/s and fee's. It basically should be able to replace Bitcoin since its better than it in every single way. Am I wrong? Are there downsides to NANO?

Arguments was there's no incentive to run a node on the NANO network but its very easy, simple and almost no cost to set up within the wallet.

Well, you certainly have very optimistic forecasts. Nano is good and should grow x3. and even x5, but it is still too early to compete with top coins. The average coin of which you need to go a long way of development and improvement.

you don't want coins that only go up because bitcoin goes up. You need coins that go x10 even when bitcoin has already gone x3

No, NANO is not the best crypto currency and is not even in the top 20 of the best crypto currency. The best crypto currency is Bitcoin and Ethereum. Once NANO finds such popularity, then you can create such a topic.

Remembering those days where you can able to earn XRB-Raiblocks now (NANO) thru faucets by means of solving captcha. Its still fresh on my mind on how did i earn those 50k XRB and just being sold out in pennies and later on i do see it did rise up its price for $30+ on ATH as far as i remember which do really give me a nightmare for how many days.
I cant deny the fact this that is indeed on of the best coins in the market due to almost free transaction cost and almost instant confirmation time.

Those are collecting it has become the next millionaire. there is a lot of blockchain with almost zero fees. IOTA becomes the superior of the NANO. But this time it has been losing a lot of value due to the demand has been moving to the new platform. Zero fees transaction is not everything right now

NANO (RaiBlocks) is just a good crypto but seem like there are no way that it can be the best while BTC and ETH are still available in crypto market . I can't denie that NANO is a really great crypto to invest in. I also regret because I sold all my Raiblock too early when I got it from Raiblock faucet pool )). If I still held it until now, I think I would have been a millionaire. LOL.

I agree that NANO is one of the best coin now. they have many strengths like: transactions is almost instant, no fee, Good scalability, power saving....
However NANO also defect like:
- NANO's privacy is less than Bitcoin
- Business co-operation is also not prioritized and promoted.
- NANO is not listed on many exchange sites.
But with strengths of NANO i believe that they will soon reach $100 in this year

Although NANO has some shortcomings that you listed, I have always supported and invested in NANO. Since I got to know NANO in April 2017, I've invested a bit in this coin. and NANO surprised me when its price increased to $ 32

maybe nano need to retune their marketing plan so as to make more people know about the nature and advantage of nano over other cryptocurrency.  there are many top coins that are inferior technology-wise but still got tremendous supporters.  maybe nano should follow their strategy.  but I believe nano team has it's own plan.  maybe they're focusing on developing the coins and perfecting it before going all in on marketing.  maybe this is their long term plan.

it's good to have a blockchain that does not charge for sending/receiving coins, but it comes with some disadvantages - nodes doesn't earn much, which is why there are not much nodes for nano.

NANO is the best coin because NANO was created to achieve the accomplishments that Bitcoin and another altcoin cannot solve such as transaction bottlenecks, or transaction fee is too large

Yes, NANO is a very good coin and has a very good technology and it is also a very potential coin but it is not the best currency in crypto, even is there are coin that have better technology and features than bitcoin, bitcoin remains the best currency in crypto.

NANO has very big potential in the next coming years because of its service but i think it is not yet possible to dethroned bitcoin. Bitcoin is the king and pioneer of cryptocurrency and still many investors still believes and will invest on bitcoin.

As far as I know, NANO's security is very poor; hackers can easily hack into NANO's wallet. Although NANO's transaction processing speed is fast and free. But we should not invest 100% in this coin
