Is Monero a Good Investment?

I think no.  It is better to invest in eth and get a good profit by the end of the year than investing in Monero and hoping that the price will rise.

Eth is a very good investment but so is Monero. Monero did performed very well last year too. It also has a very wide solid community and dev. I think the guy should just invest into both and maybe pick some more coins.

They are a good investment but not the best I guess. But we can see that they are trying to progressing and its a good sign. Hold them at least for 2 to 6 months to make sure.

I recently started researching in altcoin and I tried to figure out which other altcoin is more used in sending money online (I think a traded currency shows that the currency will resist in the future and will grow) and I came to the conclusion that Monero is that coin.


Why Monero? I think it's pretty simple, Monero because I saw that everyone from the dark web asks for payments in Monero, and this leads me to think that Monero would be a good investment now because from what I understand, even Bitcoin has first massively traded on the dark web, and Monero came as a more anonymous alternative to the dark web and so it replaced the bitcoin there.

So, as the title of this thread says: Is Monero a Good Investment?

I have presented my theory, but what do you think?

Please expose your opinion to help me in making the final decision whether to invest my money in Monero or not.

yes you are right monero has excellent potential and has uniqueness of anonymity Feature. It is almost impossible to track someone who deals with monero because most hackers now use monero.

I think yes. Because the need for a completely anonymous cryptocurrency exists and Monero takes his place in the world of cryptocurrency. Mining  of Monero is quite popular and in my opinion this coin should be in every investment portfolio.

Monerao and Zcash Both the coins are privacy coins but recently in Japan we see lot of scrutiny and even banned to trade these coins in exchange soi would prefer to wait and watch

Monero can be interesting for diversifying risks. I would invest for an average period, periodically withdrawing money. Because the monero has a small volatility and recently stable growth without strong ups or downs.

I think investing in Monero is a bad idea.  There are better coins for investment for a long and short term.

I think monero is good but not for the main cryptocurrency on your portfolio, i divide my investment into several category and monero is my choice for privacy coin. Privacy coin is needed by some people and among all privacy coin, monero is the most famous one so it is good to buy some.

Monero has some investing attractiveness which can be easily explained. Monero is free from the vulnerabilities that virtual money has. Cryptocurrency is completely anonymous. Tax authorities or state services cannot obtain information about the coin owners. Any personal data is hidden.The currency has prospects.

I don't think so. As u see, there are a lot of anon alts nowadays and they are not used by all people. I think only about 1-3%. So, it's better to invest in something new. Imho

Despite that monero mostly used in darknet,  I think still monero is a good investment, in the future anonymous coin will be in favor

I would not advise investing in Monero.  There are other more promising coins for investment.

Monero will always remain reliable, anonymous asset that gives this altcoin huge advantage + plus the mining of the Monero at the moment is quite profitable. Therefore, it is definitely worth investing part of your deposit.

It is a good investment. price is at a good place right now and mining the coin is still very easy to do. Monero is the one altcoin which closely resembles the bitcoin project when it was first implemented and the fact that it is a privacy coin is the one thing that will make people flock to it because bitcoin transactions are getting less and less anonymous by the day
