Is Monero a Good Investment?

I recently started researching in altcoin and I tried to figure out which other altcoin is more used in sending money online (I think a traded currency shows that the currency will resist in the future and will grow) and I came to the conclusion that Monero is that coin.


Why Monero? I think it's pretty simple, Monero because I saw that everyone from the dark web asks for payments in Monero, and this leads me to think that Monero would be a good investment now because from what I understand, even Bitcoin has first massively traded on the dark web, and Monero came as a more anonymous alternative to the dark web and so it replaced the bitcoin there.

So, as the title of this thread says: Is Monero a Good Investment?

I have presented my theory, but what do you think?

Please expose your opinion to help me in making the final decision whether to invest my money in Monero or not.

I five years it will cost 950 USD, so yes it's worth buying it now when it's ten times cheaper. The long-term earning potential of XMR is +178.73% in one year.

Yes, it's a good coin.  And it's better to buy coins while the price is still low.  But I think it's not worth keeping Monero for a year or longer.

Why invest in Monero, if you can invest in more reliable coins and get a good profit for a short term.  I advise you to invest in BTC and ETH.

Yes, Monero is anonymous and a cheap transaction fee coin. But more importantly, most mining softwares, mine Monero and then convert it to Bitcoins and other crypto currencies. Yeah Monero is one of the potential cryptocurrencies that you can invest into and also Monero is also used by several people and that alone increases its demand which ultimately increases its value on the market from time to time.

I also recently ran into Monero and for me it was that new and incomprehensible. And judging by the forecasts, Monero will grow almost 2 times. But personally for me this coin does not inspire confidence in me. But I can be wrong.

Here's why Monero will continue to be big. I see it as the #1 privacy coin for the foreseeable future. Right now, that's mainly a novelty, although it's also useful for people who live under oppressed governments. Obviously it can be used by criminals/drug dealers too. And that's where the money will come from. Regardless of your moral reservations, criminals will always want to use an anonymous currency. Right now, it's US dollars in cash form. But eventually, the USD will be all digital, and everything will be tracked. That is when they will use coins like Monero exclusively instead of just as a novelty or for small online sales. I think this is a bad coin for investment. If you want to make a profit, it's better to invest in another coin.
