Finally got my cube from SSB today. After about an hour of setting up/troubleshooting I got it running at 32Gh/s right now and it's only been running for less than 20 minutes. Thanks again SSB and when I can afford another one I'll be back Smiley

PS: Only a few of my heatsink screws were loose so I tightened them but a big concern was the sticker on the fan went flying into the boards with force so I'd recommend taking off the sticker before running to avoid that issue. Happy mining everyone!

EDIT: One of my boards is all x's now. I reseated all of the boards but still get it. Any ideas or should I just wait for repair/warranty info?
Any customers of mine can chime in to help out. I would also ask around in the forums as many people here are very helpful. I would try turning power off and on several times as that sometimes help. I am able to send individual boards I have taken out of the cube miners to replace faulty ones if necessary. This way you can mine with what is working instead of having to ship whole cube back to me for replacement. Please PM me if you need help in making this right. I will take care of you. SSB
I've reseated the boards, tightened heatsinks, hit the reset button a few times, as well as disconnected and reconnected the power and still have all x's on one board. If you're able to swap a board I'll probably go that route. Today I'll run it with 1 board, then 2 boards, then 3, etc.. until I can pinpoint exactly which one it is that's being a problem. Thanks SSB, you're a fantastic reseller and an asset to the community!

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

I have had a few boards get a few boards that are half or full X's and have taken them out completely from the unit so it does not reconnect every 2 minutes. One way that has fixed the X's has been changing the clock to high and back to low. Some boards will have 0's on low and X's on high; I was able to group the boards that would work on high clock setting and the ones that worked on low (i.e. showed all 0's) into separate cubes. I then just ran the boards on low that had X's when set to high, and set all the others to high. Hope this helps some.

To avoid this if you haven't opened yours yet: Take the 4 screws off the front and pull the boards out carefully. Make sure each board has all 4 screws in snug on the heatsink (several of mine were loose), and make sure each card/heatsink is seated completely in the socket (a few of mine were not fully seated after inspection). The sticker on the front of the fan flew off of 3/4 of mine within 10 minutes of running and stuck to a board inside, so I recommend trying to get it off if it is easy to do (else you might have to later after it gets sucked in). Then, Carefully, slide the boards back into the case along the grooves, plug the fan back in, and screw the 4 screws back on, making sure the entire time to watch the LED lights and other fragile stuff around the edges of the card (ethernet, usb, power input, etc.)  THEN plug it in after all that and start mining (Don't forget the fuse!).

I bought 4 and didn't do a through check on them all, and each had some minor issues. The last I've gotten I have checked like this and had zero problems. Hope this helps stops any headaches before they begin. It may seem a bit overkill, but it only takes a small bit of time to save a big headache!

Don't have one yet, but I remember this posting:

slow clock at 230 watts, high clock at 324 watts

Wasn't there a torchwood series where black cubes showed up and they where offing people in the end ?

Nope, Doctor Who http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Power_of_Three_(Doctor_Who)

12/18/13 I have received some CUBE miners with more set to arrive in the coming days. All orders received so far will ship by Friday if not sooner. I still have cubes available in stock for shipping by Friday at the latest. Orders are shipped in the order I receive them and are paid for. I no longer have any BLADE miners for sale. I still have a limited amount of backplanes available and the 49 PORT USB hubs are still available. Please give me positive trust feedback if you are happy with my customer service. Thank you for your continued support! SSB

Any shipping updates?  I would like to know if the 4 I ordered shipped.

I have some more customers looking to buy.  2 or 3 more. thanks.

What was the rail output rated for, that you had them running off of? Should be at least 30A; these come with 30A fuses so ought not pull more than that. I started out running one off a 500W server supply, but have had two running off a 750W supply (62A 12V) for a couple weeks with only one incident that I believe was a cooling insufficiency.

Cool, quiet and up to 1TH pod miner, on sale now!

Low=230W; High=340 at the wall (120VAC) measured with a Kill A Watt.  That means it's drawing 195.5WDC and 289WDC respectively from a PSU that's performing at 85% efficiency at such particular load.

All cube orders please pay attention to the following by forum member vnhyp0 .

I have one board that has a row of 6 x's, and another board with 1 x in the same cube.

When I see the chips has gone tango uniform, I've had success with changing to low clock, rebooting, changing back to high clock, and rebooting.

This will usually fix the x's on the 2 boards, but needs to be done at least every 24 hours. Or be happy running at less than 100%.

Also, I want to thank SSB for working with me on getting a cube swapped out. I had one that absolutely refused to run at high clock... it would give me all x's. Great service SSB!
