for me, it depends on market condition and psychology.if market in bad psychology, i am prefer to buy in market .usually investor directly sell their token , especially private sale investors that have big discount.

Yeah unfortunately this is true but some projects give some added value to early adopters than those that purchase in the market. However due to panic sell , it is cheaper to buy in the market
