I don't think so. i studied most of the bounty items. the amount of bounty tokens is one percent of the total amount of coins. even all bounty hunters sold all the coins. its impact on the market is very limited.

I think what you wrote is an absolute basis for avoiding such project, unless the tokens that are allocated for promotion in the ICO phase will be locked for a minimum period of several months until the project develops and attracts the attention of larger investors who will be able to stabilize the price.

in fact the main reason investors are afraid to make purchases during an ICO is that too many projects end up being fraudulent after they have made a lot of profit. one of them is BCNEX, if you still remember this project. not because of the bounty hunters. bounty  hunter only gets a fraction of the total tokens.

Nowadays, most of the projects which do ICO/IDOs to complete fund rising , are choosing a vesting/locking period to make the best productivity for investors as well as bounty hunters so that all can be benefited and project's price becomes stable. So, it's better to participate into IDOs instead of ICOs as listing is confirmed because of AMM system like uniswap.
