Well, I think that Amazon liked the resonance gained with Refereum (with Twitch) and now is thinking about its own coin. That should bring some interesting news I suppose, obviously in its shop, we’ll be able to buy everything from it. I don’t think that will be a opening to others cryptos though, Amazon is still a company and want to keep its own space, like they did with Kindle’s ebook, you can’t open them without their proprietary reader.
I’m ready to welcome Amazon in this business, should be a nice thing.

Small sample size, essentially meaningless poll taken. Just because they create a crypto won't make it successful. I personally hate all centralized coins and if they come out with one I will hate it, unless they find a way to make it fair, decentralized, and secure.

I think it's doubtful they will get their own currency, but they might use the blockchain for certain things.  And more likely they will begin accepting crypto for payments in the future.

I actually think Amazon has the clout necessary to pull off such a thing on a wide scale, perhaps not as their sole payment system, but definitely as an accessory system, such as a replacement for their gift card and gift balance system. even later there will be Google Coin, USD Coin, SGD Coin and all countries will adopt blockchain technology for their respective country currencies
with a more stable price, 1: 1 with the corresponding currency

I read that, and I don't know. That would be a huge hit for them, so who knows. They are aware of the crypto mania, and people are ready to jump on anything that has a blockchain behind it, and there is a huge hype around the blockchain revolution. So if a big name like amazon, or facebook decide to create their own coin, everyone will go crazy about it, because they have the technology hype, backed by a trusted company, so it will be huge and it would give them a lot of profit.
