Well, it never crossed my mind that you could put the words cryptocurrency and art in the same sentence, not to speak about a project with the purpose to actually combine those two. I think it’s ambitious and original and I read the thread, so let me see if I’ve got it right: Your goal is to create a community of institutions, event organizers, artists of all kinds and people who are interested in events, art, traveling and culture and provide a channel for them to not only communicate and coordinate, but to actively support each other, on the one hand, through Cultural coin (you can fund artists, events, institutions etc.) and offer their services (as far as I got it when it’s up and running one could buy tickets for a museum or a gallery, or a concert using Cultural coin, all this while avoiding frauds who sell fake tickets, black markets and the big fees that usually make the prices higher). As I person who likes to travel I really like the second part, but since I have friends in the art community, I think it’s an interesting way to modernize funding of artists and institutions and I’d really like to know a bit more about your concept regarding that part. Hopefully, I summarized it well enough or did I miss something? Stupid question: how does one become an ICO participant? Do u have to download the app? And what can the app actually offer? That said, I hope this one will be successful, I think we can all benefit from a project like that.

Thank you for your answer. I took a look at the website and I see that I can find a lot of information there. As far as I can see you are in Phase 2 now, which means 30% discount? I took a brief look at the the partnering institutions and there are some really interesting places there. How do you attract new partners?

Yes we're in Phase 2 right now with 30% discount. We have a Sales Team that is working on getting new partner. We have a very important meeting in the next couple of days. Institutions will be in the position to consider they way to attract younger people in near future. Our project will be well developed by then too. There are many ways

Are you planning on getting the cultural coin listed on exchanges after the ICO? PS: Downloaded the app and you have some interesting features like audio guides. I suppose there should be expected some future developments there, too.

Thanks FIorri, for the link. I was actually searching something like that too. Nice to see this ICO also in the Foxico list. And it has 8 out of 10 points...the average of the other ICOs in the Foxico list looks to be between 5 and 6...looks good to me. Good to have an external opinion too about cultural places.

This is a very interesting project! Now there are similar in meaning, but different areas of activity platforms such as MoxyOne,Gelios( first about Casinos and gambling, the second about real estate) and they are popular. So here, too, there's a chance that everything will be fine.
Why do you think it will also be popular ,as you listed projects ? Now once again becoming a popular art ,travel and everything connected with it. But not everyone can afford it ,and here you can also earn on it .I think that many will be interested) In addition, many popular places are already cooperating with the project. More than 30 attractions and institutions in six different countries, such as the famous Stefansdom in Vienna and the Borobudur temple in Indonesia - the world's largest Buddhist temple - are already partners of Cultural Places. This is just the beginning. And hopefully, if this ICO goes through and the projects can start, they will have much more attractions so one can benefit with the App in any more countries. Actually the App is already in the Play store and i installed it now...looks good.

I just scrolled a little bit and saw some pictures and that there are audio guides available. I guess that later you can buy tickets and organize groups and so on.

Hey, I think, that the cultural coin is actually the main difference between their project and other similar projects. Its purpose is to use it for all the payments: tickets, services (audio guides), purchasing of souvenirs or crowdfunding artists and institutions. The blockchain is supposed to secure the process and a cryptocurrency in a platform like this has its advantages: if you look at previous questions here, it becomes clear, that through the usage of cultural coin you can avoid expensive fees in the ticket booking, fraud prevention is another aspect of this. You, as a customer or user, would, of course, like a fair ticket price (all the intermediaries you could buy from have certain fees which increase the price of the ticket or the service you are purchasing), you'd definitely like your ticket to be authentic and get a fast, transparent and low cost transaction. Transparency is important in regard to crowdfunding, too. And then if you participate as a user or a partner, there are certain benefits depending on how involved you. Still reading the whitepaper btw, but I think that's the main idea.

Finally, I found something worthwhile. Cultural Places can give second life for many museums, that aren’t very popular. Also, they can help to improve the financial balance of cultural facilities. They will get a really good percent.

Almost 94% will be distributed to institutions. 3 % will take Cultural places. Also, developers provide the loyalty program for users ( 1%) and royalty program for institutions(1 %). I think it is a good motivation for all of the parties of the system.

These 3% is a share from every purchase. I don’t think it is too much. Yes, you are right. Tokens are called Cultural Coin. Yep, tokens can be exchanged on different market. If you need more information take a look at the white paper.

Hey, everyone. It is a really good idea. What does press think about this project? I hope people will understand that it is a good alternative for touristic agencies that make high margins.

I think you should read this article. It can be useful to understand how people feel about Cultural places. https://www.newsbtc.com/2018/03/09/blockchain-based-platform-cultural-world/
