Today the market is not a good picture. It seems to me that some very influential people are just selling bitcoin for very cheap money. It seems to me that this situation is likely temporary.

The Whales are getting out of bitcoin. That is a fact, research it

If you really think that big investors aren't interested in crypto than you should have a look at the market cap of cryptos. I don't think this market cap can be achieved with few hundred dollars of investment from Mr. Joe.

I agree, but Tether has done a lot of damage

If you're not an adventurer, I don't recommend you invest in ICO, because ICO is now heavily regulated by various countries.
And investing in bitcoin is a sound investment, and I suggest you hold it for the long term.

People are scared to invest at current price levels. It can go either way. There are no market fundamentals and this is a big problem for Bitcoin.
It is a straight out gamble: Heads or Tails

Can you provide some source/reasons why?

Crypto = Government.

Block + Chain = Slave

Go make a transaction and try to hide it.  You can't.  Check mate.  Tax man will know everything (not that it mattters we hand over our passports to make a few bucks so...)

Get rich while they implement it then take winnings and move to where they are to avoid the fallout.

You talk a complete nonsense as for me.
Only some gov-s try to control crypto usage in their countries. They can't do it worldwide.
There are some anonymous cryptocurrencies which people can use if they are too paranoic about their privacy.

The anonymous cryptocurrencies you talk about will probably be banned bright boy

I don’t want to be gloomy but this industry has a lot of negative media and big investors do not take it seriously.
What? Are you seriously?
And what about such powerful projects as Tezos, Polkadot and future TON? I heard that TON accept not every request from investors - they choose which one to accept and which one to refuse (min sum for investments is 2kk$!).

Maybe the crypto markets will never develop.
It is a possibility!
I don’t want to be gloomy but this industry has a lot of negative media and big investors do not take it seriously.
In addition, Most of the ICO’s are professional cons
www.bitcoinfuji.com is a bitcoin alternative on the DEX and makes sense
I think alts are good for us to buy in though they are low now but they will be high again. So just be patient enough.

Altcoins are answer for us to be financially freedom in this world. Unless you are holding a thousands of Bitcoin if not then our goal here is to increase the size of Bitcoin by trading into altcoins but ofcourse before you do that properly you always have to do your own search very well first so you can minimize any losses on your trades.

Possible but would really be hard to attain such thing into crypto market. You would need to invest if you are aiming for financially free life then you would need to risk and altcoin price decrease is always been part of it.Losing money is there and you should be aware. Cryptos can be anytime to be doomed but seeing on its tech we can say that this wont be easily vanished due to its potential and benefits that it gives.

You have valid points but I don't actually agree with your overall assessment of alts.

If you knew eth was going to be big before it became big, would your statement still be true? I dont think so.

I believe that if you take the time to do due diligence and research a coin thoroughly, you'll be able to find winners and losers. If you saw that vitalik., whose name keeps aitocorrecting to vitamin Tongue, was behind eth -- you'd realize eth's potential and its low chances of failing.

Im just saying there are obvious winners and losers that can be uncovered by simply taking a breath and studying alts you're interested in trading.

To understand this, bitcoin should have been more dismal in the first few years than it is now. As a person who has been concerned with the password, I have been accustomed to its big fluctuations, which actually reflects the rapid development of the industry.

but if you find a real ICO, you still will get a profitable incomes from it. you just need to careful when choose.

I think that large investors will come when the market is at the very bottom and there will be enough sales so that they can make their big purchases with little or no spread

In my opinion, the future we have to determine, like cryptocurrency, but we are often confused with the slow development of altcoin even when prices fall. And cryptocurrency has a very bright future for our progressive generation, there is a low probability that crypto will not develop. Simply tighten your grip on your coin and hopefully also be a growing asset in the future.

It is indeed true that, despite the negative position on cryptos, the technology that it is built upon is of special interest to traditional banks. Known as the blockchain, this is essentially a digital ledger of all transactions that cannot be tampered with or altered. Carney stressed in his speech that he holds no grudge towards innovation.

We're not doomed, but we're developing. We are in a stage where we're being tested by a lot of factors so I think as time gradually passes and we adopt to the backlogs, people will truly understand and appreciate crypto. Just this week two major entertainment industry players accepted crypto subscription payment so I think we're now to see the true effects of crypto. It's just a matter of time

We have had a time of serious dip. The market presently is recovering and i am seeing a promising market in this year 2018. So, cryptocurrency is not experiencing any form of setback for now, rather it is having a good headway and preparing for another bull run. This year's i feel will be greater. No doom for crypto, but a lifting up.
