Dump all your coins, he is not satisfied with the bitcoin alone, he's also dumping some fork coins like bitcoin cash, the trustee is waiting for the market to become bullish that would include all the fork coins, then sell them all again, MT.Gox incident happens almost 4 years and now these tons of selling from the Mt.gox again?

They are the one who is dumping bitcoin, that's why its falling from months now!
wait for the good opportunity to buy bitcoins and other altcoins on the lowest price for the cheap sale, most of the crypto believers will make the same move then ride the bitcoin rocket, profit from the negative price.

Accident in mt gox was 4 years ago and during that time they are very smart to hold it. I guess they will not do a dump anytime soon and they will wait until the highest price is reached. If they intend to get rid of it now, I think the market will get seriously jammed and I'm sure there's another purpose from that.

the next meeting is in September 2018 so before this time The Trustee won't sell btc anymore. After now we can see bull for btc and all alts. There is an Auction in USA. they got 2k btc from drug dealers and they will not sell direct to market but make an Auction so this might help price go up. the all info is here ;
https://news.bitcoin.com/75-of-20m-bitcoin-auction-from-drug-busts/?utm_source=75%25%20of%20%2420M%20Bitcoin&utm_medium=telegram&utm_campaign=Telegram%20Channel

BTC will start bull run cuz even if you check RSI you will see its dip , its oversold. There are many news about BTC , transfers are cheaper and faster. We can reach again 14k and than 25k.

This is the best thing that we can do right now, to buy more bitcoin at a lower price so we can have good chance of profit in the future. I know the price will pump again in due time its a matter of time so don’t panic because the market have a great potential to do so.

It is interesting that he chose to market sell them, which would indicate that the end result was that he sold the bitcoins into many hands. Alternatively he could have sold them to some centralized whale holder.

This is a very healthy thing for the guy to do imo. Nobody likes prices going down but the satisfaction of knowing some billionaire manipulative warmongering fucktwat didn't get it all behind a closed curtain is somehow just so reassuring to me.

We're all gonna make it Cheesy

I would speculate actually that whales bought up more of it and probably in turn have accumulated even more bitcoin. When the price dumps it's not the little guys who buy up the cheap coins, it's the big whales. By causing the fear in the market he will have caused so many people to dump and the whales buy all of those coins up as well.

It's speculative to assume that the people who had buy orders in wait that were dumped on have now sold. Sure mm's are moving in to buy now just as much as weak hands would sell around now, or at least think about it. No shame in sitting on a loss. For one I haven't sold since months and bought just a few weeks ago.

Weak hands get shook out, law of nature, but I'm certainly not the only one looking forward to a ride down while more people pile in.

You seem to be agreeing with my point, the weak hands continue to feed the strong hands and making them in to bigger and bigger whales. Every time there's a major crash like this it's just a distribution of funds away from those weak hands.

This dumping may be mostly over and the prices can finally rise after this. It is just amazing how Mt. Gox saga is still affecting bitcoin for last many years one way or the other.

That sucker doesn't know anything about auctions. He is slamming the price down a little bit with that large number of Bitcoins.
On the positive side, I guess people will get back some of the stolen investment back.

i heard he sold many btc even at $6k price , it shows how dumb he is .
rather than dumping on exchanges he can go for otc or even can do margin trading with his family members and earn more .

he is just causing loss to everyone . good that that exchange is now past .

Why do people think this guy is a retard or something , he won't dump all the coins at once. It makes way more sense to spread it so he can get the highest price per bitcoin as possible. Maybe it has effect on the market , but not as much as some people seem to think.

It may better to sell all of the bitcoin through the auction method because that can give a lot of impact to the market if that was getting dump at once. That more sense about how the majority of country that seized the bitcoin from the criminal was selling it through auction. But i remember there is more than 332k bitcoin + bitcoin cash in trustee wallet.

Are they all sold yet? something tells me no?
There is a timed pattern with these dips that are going on and I wouldn't call this a correction any more, exchanges need MONEY to back their base, not BTC!
If they are slowly selling $400 million worth of BTC back in to the market, we will be sitting under $10,000 for a good time.

Complete pain in the ass this is, crypto needs to go down the DEX path quicker than we are if one single exchange can have such an impact from their own mistake.

As you know MtGox got hacked and many people lose their btc  ( total around 744k btc).

what do you think ?

I have never heard of such hacking, but the news I hear is the existence of several bitcoin address lines that should be responsible for the recent decline in bitcoin prices. But my heart began to doubt after this incident because most likely the actual btc owner will do the sale and buy it back at a later date for a lower price.

Did a bit more reading, the trustee still has $1.9 billion worth to sell.
This is the worst news I've seen in recent times for BTC.

It's not such a large volume, I think the panic from this event is too much inflated. This has only a short-term effect. 400mln vs 24h volume 6bln lol

If they really have so many bitcoins, I think they will not sell them all. The price of bitcoin will rise very much in the long run. For example, when they are 50 thousand dollars they sell a certain amount, when they are 100 thousand dollars they sell some. So they earn more money Smiley

I heard they will stop dumping for now but they will sell it later I don't know when but probably later this year in my opinion.
Right now the price is going down because people are panicking.
