That's right. Use healthy activities like sports to be a substitute on your gambling time. They say that it takes 21 days for a person to make an activity as a habit that it could remove even your urge to gamble completely.
True, with the exercise we can remove the gambling, because the sport could make us focus for the sport and forget the gambling, but it should be in doing secar routine and gradually that all goes well, because it is certainly a lot of people who want to stop gambled and of their many that makes the sport as a replacement for the habit of gambling

Guys, I know that many of you have already discussed this issue regarding quitting gambling as it is addictive, and I know that this thread is just like any other one. But forgive me because I am really sick of seeing people committing suicide because they are in big debts. I would like to speak my mind.

It’s hard for me to believe this. How many people have you seen committing suicide? 20?

For me, gambling addiction is a symptom of previous problems. Someone with a good life, with high self-esteem and without any psychological issues, doesn’t get addicted to gambling or whatever. To solve your gambling addiction, you have to solve the previous problems first, and then, quit gambling forever.

madness to victory, absence of capital, and continuous defeat that makes it all happen, so gamble get big benefits, but if we lose even big losses

But forgive me because I am really sick of seeing people committing suicide because they are in big debts. I would like to speak my mind.

So, guys. Quitting gambling has to be done by quitting yourself. What I mean by that statement is that you should no longer be yourself or what you are. You are now a man of greed and addiction. Who was the person you were before you start gambling? Perhaps you were addicted to something else. Perhaps you were just a normal man living a normal life. Now you are a different person. What I want you to do is that you should be aware that gambling too much will make you lose yourself. Second off, you should sit with yourself and write down the negative effects of gambling. Do not be like "What if I win next time, what if I get lucky next time." No, that is not you who is talking but your greed. Do not give yourself false hopes because "What if" is a term used to talk about unreal action in the past or the future. You can neither change the past nor be accurate about what future will be like.

Then you should practice positive self-talk. Fill yourself with positiveness. Have a strong willpower and determination because believe me, once you are committed to something, you will attain it. If you want to give up gambling, then you can do it because other people and I gave it up.
I used to gamble a lot with my friends and I would be lying if I said I did not learn many things. But the negative effects overcame the positive ones. I took a decision to stop gambling. I filled my time with various activities. In time, I started to forget about gambling. It is like moving on. If you want to move on, get yourself from the routine you used to be in. Your brain is functioned about a certain routine. You will find it hard to adapt to the new routine, but believe me, in time you will get used to it.

I hope you guys achieve what you aspire. And I hope this thread will help you, even though I am sure I am going to get negative feedback. But it is okay, I am open to everything. Have a lovely day, Hadoooken!

I have myself been addicted to online gambling in the past to some extent. It happened mainly because I had nothing to do and also I was very new to this. I was very much impressed by gambling in the beginning and failed to draw my lines. Now, I keep myself busy with lot of work and thus all the addiction has faded away. Regarding people doing suciicde because of debt, it happens mainly because the person thinks that there is no one who will support him.

coupled with the burning greedy dreams of accumulating more profits through betting is also one of the big reasons for gambling addiction. Unless people will wake up that when they are playing on games that are based on pure luck, it is always the house that will going to win at the end of the day.

Keeping ourselves busy is a sure way of working to get rid of addiction, you've proven it. It's just that people who stop in the middle of the street often assume that the way it is less telling just because they fail, but it is their own fault, they are too easily give up. When people have a lot of debt because of gambling, the solution is not suicide, but you have to confide to your nearest person, do not burden the problem alone. Seeking help with them, shame to known to have a lot of debt is better than choosing to end your own life.

I think people are slaves of habits or habits of human beings, why can not we bring ourselves back from gambling, who say that gambling can not come back from the game, I think they live completely with the wrong idea if people want people from everywhere It can come back and it's one Gambling I know it is a form of addiction, but if a person wishes, he can safely remove himself from the addiction, it is dependent on the will of man only, and there are some people who say that they benefit people but they do not benefit but rather harm the human Just like some gambling Players have a lot of gambling due to which they are taking loans and they are taking loans because of which they are unable to repay their debts, these people, by converting them into suicide, it is a mistake to warn all of us from this mistake. Have to be and advise othersIt would not be wrong,

It looks easy to tell but it is not that much easy to quit from gambling that is why we called it as an addiction.SO it needs special care with our will power to get out from that.So if someone addicted to gambling then it is impossible for them the get out themselves someone need to support them to get out.

Yes maybe it's easy to tell to quit to something that's been your system in every day lives but if this something isn't good for you anymore then it's time to quit. Yeah it's hard at first like you're going to die but if you're really determined to do so then I'm sure that eventually it won't bother you anymore. I believe that it just take 21 days to make a new habit so be it.
Well, for one reason or the other, an addict is not even fighting anymore whether it is good or not, as the only thing they are fighting is how to get out of the shithole they have put themselves. The truth like you said is that is it not easy. It is very easy to quit gambling when you are not yet engrossed in it than to quit when it has fully taken total control of you, but at the end, it all balls down to the individual.

For an addict, it would be very hard to do. Do you know how most addicts usually get it wrong? It is because they have an attribute or characteristics that would always make them to turn to an addict when they do things that are actually impulsive in nature. Gambling comes with a lot of impulse and it is not everyone that can control it, so once a gambler is able to quit an addiction for any reason, it is better to just stay out.

Well, its too late for gamblers to realize that this is just a game of luck. Lot's of greed brings them down and the result is much worst that losing money. Love yourself and your family don't waste your life because of gambling, there's a lot of things that you can do to earn money make effort to discover it.

I don't see people committing suicide because of gambling. It is really hard to quit in gambling but I don't see people committing suicide because of gambling. Quiting is hard but it can still stop with the support of other people especially with the support of family, if you see a person that is suffering from addiction in gambling better to give him a vacation and a travel so it will not going to be worst.

Gambling at times can be very addictive to people if they do not have self control and as a result they might keep playing continuously and end up losing lot of money. This could be dangerous for them as they lose money and may play more to recover that lost money and for that may borrow from some one and even could lose out that money. So better to quit gambling so that you can be yourself and enjoy the life.

It is very hard for someone to stop gambling completely gambling is the same as any risk except you get a financial return.
Gambling is addictive but you have to set your own limits i the difficulty is recognising you have a problem before it gets out of hand.

Financial return and gambling are way away from each other if you talk about returns. Gambling has something called the house edge which will make any strategy that you try to apply null at one time. Hence there is no bust-proof strategy. Again in investing money although risks are involved if you know where to out money into - you will be able to make money.

True for every addiction. Let it not take over you and make you get sidetracked or on the wrong track. Suicide just because you are in debt is cowardice if you ask me.

I believe so.Gambling can really cause big destruction in your life if you let it rule your mind and heart.I think it's alright to gamble as long as you know what you're doing and have set limits for yourself.Put gambling not as a priority in your life but rather an option wherein you can enjoy it playing during leisure time.Through this way, gambling can somehow be profitable not in terms of money but for your own enjoyment and satisfaction.

I never heard someone quit their life when they quit in gambling for me that would be a great choice to quit and to have a new beggining in life.
Maybe people commit suicide not just because of gambling maybe that person had so much problem and nobody helped them . The support of the family should be there to give advice and so that person in trouble won't think to kill their selves.

Fantastic it is. It is really not a problem if someone wants to quit gambling. Many people often say, it is hardest part of your life to quit something that have potential to give you money by doing nothing. Although gambling is easy money way but this can’t be considered as source of money. So if you want to quit, it will only take 21 days. Get some other hobby in these days and say bye to gambling.

The problem of gambling(or human mind maybe) is the large percentage of people make their life destructive when they take it seriously.

And quiting gamble or any addiction is really a hard job, but 100% possible for everyone. To quite gambling we need to get out from the gambling mentality and the thoughts and a good creative work like singing, gardening can help very much.

21 days is not so long. do other activities and do it regularly. With the new habits you do in your usual time for your old habits then you will replace those old habits with new habits. If you've started it you just need to be patient.

If you think about it that would be really helpful knowing that it's only almost a month to stop old habits and creating new ones for the benefit of yourself. I think it's just not inhabits that you need to be patient but also with other things like waiting and being stuck in traffic.

I also think that one moment is enough to change your habit but inside you need determined yourself then it will work. Otherwise we have spend a long life only to think it that one day we will change our life and leave bad habits but it is just our thinking and in practically we are fail. I find the conclusion when we will decide in our mind then it is so easy to change our old habits or activities, otherwise it is just like discussion.

That's right. Use healthy activities like sports to be a substitute on your gambling time. They say that it takes 21 days for a person to make an activity as a habit that it could remove even your urge to gamble completely.

21 days is not so long. do other activities and do it regularly. With the new habits you do in your usual time for your old habits then you will replace those old habits with new habits. If you've started it you just need to be patient.
The question is whether the person can do his new habit regularly and be able to forget the habit of gambling at the same time? 21 days is not a short time if we talk about forgetting the daily activities that have become part of our lives.
