From my own point of view, ethereum is both a blessing and curse. I enter the crypto world quite late, so i don't know the early development of crypto but i think ethereum definitely change the crypto world with its smart contract. As we can see now almost all ico use ethereum smart contract for their ico and platform.

I'm agree with your point of view, day by day ethereum become more bigger, the community become stronger..I believe someday ethereum price will get until 1000$-2000$ at least 2 years from now..one reason why ethereum can achieve the position like now is because many ICO are using ERC20 token that are ethereum basic so if the ICO become bigger so the ethereum too..

The tokenization becomes another trend right now and this brings ethereum to the top of the platform that has been used by more than hundreds companies to create or store their asset in the ethereum blockchain.

ETH definitely did it. It actually revolutionized the concept of cryptocurrency from being solo currency to creating excellent platform for other applications based on blockchain. First and foremost it's smart contracts. But the whole concept of ICOs was actually revolutionized by Ethereum. In my opinion Ethereum brought cryptoworld to mass adoption.
