It was already there. If you look at the history of bitcoin, there was a takeoff to a thousand, then a collapse and within a year it "lay" until a new wave of investors interested in this topic came. Bitcoin is an analog of the dotcom bubble of the beginning of the zero ones.

For my own thinking Bitcoin will not die, maybe Bitcoin will die if in the whole world there is no electricity and internet is dead. Not only Bitcoin is dead if the internet network is dead, Anything related to internet network and electric energy will all die. because to apply or use bitcoin Internet network needs. And that's something that will not happen.

Bitcoin will not be dead even in the upcoming years or in the future. Because bitcoin is the number one coin in the world. Billions and billions and billions of people are aware about bitcoin and are a bitcoin users. Another thing is that bitcoin is growing, expanding immensely, spreading to fast and i think no one can stop it and no one will try to stop it. This is just the beginning of bitcoin. it will rise to the top.

I agree with the others that Bitcoin is not going away anytime soon but it does have a few risks such as constant hardforks/counterfeits/scam coins that keep coming up. It is a constant risk until exchanges stop dealing in counterfeits. Another issue is the mining difficulty and power usage is unsustainable in my opinion. For Bitcoin to survive long into the future it will need to have adaptive difficulty or do away with the mining altogether. It's blockchain is also subject to abuse unless things change significantly people can and do put messages and other information into the blockchain whereas I feel the code should be changed to not allow anything but pure transactions alone (eg. it shouldn't be possible to encode secret messages or child porn in Bitcoin any longer).
With that said in the coming years as almost all the Bitcoin's are mined and difficulty keeps rocketing I think the value will reach amazing heights that no one can really predict. It also cannot be denied that some part of the Bitcoin story resembles the dot-com bubbles so it depends on if Bitcoin can change and adapt. However, if Bitcoin remains as a sort of digital gold reserve, slow transactions will be OK in the future and will not be a threat to Bitcoin. Still, the prospect of moving large amounts of money as slow as the SWIFT network or in some cases slower should be resolved in my opinion.

I dont think bitcoin will ever die and neither will many altcoins based on the trends they have experienced over the years and the technology that they provide. Bitcoin and crypto has proven to come back stronger and with higher prices after ever bear market. During the bear markets a lot of pe.ople will say its the end of crypto but then a few months or even a few years later another bull run occurs and prices skyrocket |

First, I think statements like these come out of the mouths of those who do not know about bitcoin, they think when bitcoin prices fall or unstable it signifies bitcoin will die. Obviously, it can be ensured that they do not understand about bitcoin, they do not know that the decline or unstable bitcoin is a natural thing. |

Bitcoin is not dying but just deflating because its price is simply unpredictable. The price moves with the demand along the economy and its pretty normal that industries like bitcoin to only be on the hype at the and of the year. As I seen it, bitcoin is powerful and not easy to be replaced in the market. The price has been dropping in the last months not because bitcoin is dying. It is because bitcoin is fluctuating the market so that investments can be made. But as the demand once again increases, bitcoin's price will fly again in the charts and people who invested on it will receive their reward for waiting and holding. |

Many people have already said that bitcoin will be dead but obviously it is not true. Bitcoin is the most powerful cryptocurrency even its priced will falls down, it is still cannot be replaced in the market. Bitcoin's value will still recover and increased as long there are people investing on it. |

The price moves like tides and right now, we are still on low tides. But wait until the moon of demand pulls up again bitcoin to the charts. Bitcoin is not dying and for me, it is just resting and preparing. I think, in the next months, bitcoin's price will soar up again and people who buy bitcoins now that the price is lower will earn a lot of income. |

my opinion is that bitcoin will not die. schyas currency is very much sank and not only bitcoin but also a lot of all sorts of coins. is all of the beam and the beam adjusted the currency markets and all gradually rising to the top after the big collapse of the currency, so at this point bitcoin will go to the top!

Bitcoins are far from dead. People are still investing on bitcoins specially now that the price has declined significantly as compated to last year's pricing. The bitcoin community is also making updates on how to make things faster and make things cheaper for bitcoin transactions.
I assent to this. Bitcoin is the future of all financial transactions as it employs a revolutionary ideology which is yet to be understood fully by the so called critics. The market keeps on expanding each time as it capitalizes on the weak traditional financing system and bring out a well decentralized model of transaction. The investment margin is being widened each time as the patronage increases, thereby creating more value and life to Bitcoin. |

If bitcoin should die, then i bet you it would take all other cryptos with it. Perhaps many years from now, when the crypto space has sufficiently evolved, we may see a replacement of bitcoin with another if the other coin is that super !!!

I thought it would be difficult if bitcoin would die as more people know about bitcoin and invest in bitcoin. If the investor is not there new i think bitcoin will die because i'm sure the market will not run.
