Your Country and Cryptos

My country was not allowed crypto currency, but it was not banned. While neither how it is regulated, but the plans are already building.
Over the past year, a lot of people started talking about bitcoin, but not as a "future economy", but as a means of earning. I think many now do not see the prospects of the blockchain and the crypto currency themselves, they just want to make money. I hope this situation will change in the future.

Where i live cryptocurrencires arent forbidden. You have also very low fees and taxes to profit of cryptocurrencies. But it looks like nobodys taking cryptocurrencies seriouse here. SO there are several Bitcoin ATM in the town. YOu also read sometimes about bitcoin in the local news paper. But i never saw a store who accepted bitcoins or any other cryptocurrencies. WHen you also talk to people about it, they dont take it seriouse and they thinks its just a bubble!

my country has a lot of people talking about investing in digital money market. and the development of crypto and so is limited to the discourse of the television media and the form of condemnation and prohibition by the state.

I live in Russia. Engaged in mining for more than a year, trading on exchanges, investing in some ICO. Our government is trying to protect people from cryptocurrencies in news channels. Introduced a tax on mining and obliged miners to register as a private entrepreneur.

Nigeria is my country though crypto is not accepted fully but it is not  banned either

In my country ( I am from Ukraine) there are no any laws for the cryptocurrency yet, unfortunately. And it's good for our government, sometimes they just comes to the owners of crypto (big boys) and just force them to transfer coins to their wallets, because it is illegal! It is horrible They even not always know how to use wallet!!!
So i just wish the regulations to come to our country as soon as possible...

I'm curious, how big are cryptos in your country? Are they still collectively referred to as bitcoin, or do news reports and local media actually dive into their merit and the difference between coins, projects, companies etc. I'm from Canada and most of the current news is wavering between reports of malware installing mining agents and the Canadian Security Exchange cracking down on ICO sales.

In Ukraine cryptos are in grey zone. Officially they are not regulated, but in case if you will try to cash coins, you will get into trouble

in my opinion only 40% of the total population in our country who knows about cryptocurrencies. But for the meantime since our government has not yet imposed regulations on cryptos so i am enjoying the benefits that i got from bitcoin and other altcoins for tax-free.

In my country have not legalized crypto currency. Many are talking about crypto currency, but more do not know about crypto currency. Among those who know crypto I think only a few are really focused and serious about the progress and future of crypto. Others just pursuing profits regardless of anything else.

Direct transactions using bitcoin or crypto is illegal in my country. So there is not much space to educate what exactly blockchain technology is and how far its potential is. It may take a few years, until this technology really affects the habits of people in the real world.

Not many people know about bitcoin and crypto in my country. As for me, I heard about it only last year. There is not much advertisement. In general people can know about crypto from their friends, relatives.

I live in Kazakhstan and in our country treat innovations very watchfully. Though the policy of the government is aimed at innovations.
Most of people at us in the country learned about the cryptoworld when Bitcoin rose up to 20000% / a coin.
Up to this point, interest in cryptocurrencies was weak.
Probably, I one in our area of the city who is interested in the cryptoworld.

I'm on indonesia
Indonesia not banned crypto currency
But if you buy something with cryptocurrency you will be jailed
Something i mean it's like "you buy a car with bitcoin"
Because the rule in indonesia
It's says "only rupiah accepted"
And if you just trade and sold it
That's not restricted

Maybe my country is not too advanced in cryptocurrency technology. Okay in general the increase or decrease of bitcoin is reported on a regular basis by the national site, but for altcoin let alone ico may only be found on the internet blog.

Very few of the people in my country are familiar with cryptocurrency, they may know bitcoin but do not really understand crypto actually. Perhaps the political situation more attracted the attention of the people in my country.

According to my opinion, in our country most people thinks that cryptocurrency is just about bitcoin. There was also news about cryptocurrency in our country but it was only about investing in bitcoin and just the introduction of it.

I believe that in my country people who are in IT/Computing and maybe finance know about crypto. Other people might know that bitcoin is like an electronic coin, but thats it. Hopefully this will change in the near future

I think the government's attitude is very influential on the growth of cryptocurrency in the country. Unfortunately I am in a country that is still in a gray area against crypto and its derivative technology.

Not much crypto development happens in my country. People are not interested in stock investing, so I understand if they have no imagination about crypto. But then I came to know that this industry may be very potential in the future.

In my country government is not outrightly saying anything openly against bitcoin. Individuals are involved in Bitcoin.
