Interestingly, Iran, Iraq, and Turkey all recognize the legitimacy of Bitcoin, while Afghanistan, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt impose different degrees of restrictions on the cryptocurrency.

Of the 246 countries in the world, 99 countries (40%) currently have laws that do not restrict Bitcoin. Nearly 17 countries (7%) either limit Bitcoin transactions or believe Bitcoin is illegal. 53% of countries have not commented on the legality of bitcoin and its use in their respective countries. For Bitcoin, this is a risk factor because some countries that have not concluded may impose restrictions on cryptocurrencies.

I'm from Norway and here crypto  currencies are legal, but heavily taxed @ 23% on all realizations. All trades in-between crypto's or fiat, and the tax man will ask for his money.

Germany: The first country in the world to recognize the legal status of bitcoin

Cryptos are slowly being accepted in our country although this is only a small portion in our population. Most are still inclined to the traditional business and investment. I believe that someday the number of supporters will grow considerably.

The country I am currently in bans cryptocurrency payments for goods and services but is so incredibly incompetent and corrupt that it is easy to get around anything they do. All they have done is chase away investment that could have helped them grow the industry domestically.

Are they still collectively referred to as bitcoin, or do news reports and local media actually dive into their merit and the difference between coins, projects, companies etc. I'm from Canada and most of the current news is wavering between reports of malware installing mining agents and the Canadian Security Exchange cracking down on ICO sales.

In my country the bitcoin is becoming a popular CryptoCurrency and the people who used it are still increasing and of course there's still a bad news. In the news television they say that there's many victims of scam by investing in bitcoin, almost 900 million of investment will scam to many people.

Almost the same mate, in my country there are few news about cryptocurrencies are scam in investing process but I think more people are aware already it's existence and how beneficial crypto world in their lives.

my country has no agreement about the validation of cryptocurrency because digital currency is still pros and cons in my country, if my country certify crypto then I will use crypto for everyday life.

In my country its only around 200,000-300,000 people(which is just an estimate) are trading, investing or mining in cryptocurrency. Which is a very small portion of the country.

my country ban crypto but I see there are many people like crypto and now they are investing crypto but after broken of ico lending,there are mant people lose all money,i so sad because there are many my friend lose money

Here in the Philippines, bitcoins have been gaining traction in the country. Coins.ph, a company famous for its bitcoi wallet app in the Philippines, started a cryptocurrency exchange called CX. I guess you can say that people nowadays are taking cryptocurrency seriously and have been disregarding the stigma that is behind bitcoins.

In my country the most popular crypto is bitcoin in which majority of them think it is a ponzi pyramid scheme and my country central bank has warned seriously against it.

Though the crypto culture is definitely strong here, there are only a select few companies that dwell into crypto I think. A lot of people simply don't know enough about it.

in my country the crypto currency and especially the ICO want to take control of the state in the person of the national bank of the country, while this is all at the stage of conversations, and before the bill is passed there will be a lot of time, it is necessary to be ready and prepare the workarounds)

The cryptocurrency situation is not clear cut, while the. Government and the central bank are openly critical of CRYPTOCURRENCY., They have done very little to cub it's operations, there are still people openely dealing in BTC taking advantage of the confused system. Not untill a clear cut  regulations are put in place, the situation will remain the same

In my country cryptos topic is  merely limited to the discourse of the television media and the form of condemnation and prohibition that the state will do.
 also in my country, bitcoin has not been legalized by the government as a means of financial transactions. If your here in my country you really dont know if crypto currency really exist here.

In my country with the crypt everything is pretty sad. The government decided to take measures only on taxation, but did not develop a legislative base in relation to the crypt as a whole.

crypto is identical to bitcoin and rarely talks about altcoin because my country has not legalized crypto but does not forbid people to do business crypto so information in electronic media or mass media still not much discuss about crypto
