Because there are coins that are only listed in yobit exchange so they are force to use yobit even if they dont like it. Second is those fork coins that is supported by yobit exchange, investors/traders want a free money. But all in all, it is a highly avoidable exchange

Some coins only listed on Yobit. The volume is way better here than being listed only on decentralized exchange like Idex, Etherdelta, Forkdelta etc.

Some users didn't experienced any problems yet in using Yobit exchange. In my case, I only experienced minor problems with them and got solved within short period of time. Same with others. But some are unfortunate and we see that many times here in bitcointalk forum.

I have some coins currently playing on Yobit but I know the risks. If people want to minimize their worries then they should stop using Yobit exchange.

Bad and good is relative and people have different assessment, most people will see yo bit product ( available coins ), fees, kyc ( verification ) and delay transactions ( problem ). As long they can get result from their transactions and feel comfortable with rules it will be fine to keep stay. We can't force people leave yo bit because we don't like with rules, already has unsolved transactions problem and delay, they have their own decision and please accept that.

Probably newbies tend to try shitty exchanges to gain experience. But overtime, they will move out specially if they found out how shitty a exchanges Yobit is.

I admit that in the beginning of my journey, I was in awe to used Yobit and seeing all the graphs popping out and trading volumes in real time. lol.

But then later, I found out that there are other exchanges that offer better services and support and the platform much stable. So I just moved out and try other exchanges and never go back to that shitty Yobit.

It's because the coin who they hold for a while is listed only on that exchange and that would be the simpliest explanation on why people keep trading on that yoshit exchange eventhough it is know for their bad repuation here. But let's put all what we have on single shot so that if our token deposits and withdrawal will compromised we will not get a huge stress on our side.

Few years ago YoBit was very popular among users here on forum since they have signature campaign and they pay more or less regularly.I was part of that SC and they allow to user have referral link in signature so I have hundreds of referrals.Even today some of them are active and I still get 20% of their trades.I've never had a problem with YoBit,but I see many users report them as scam these days.Only problem for me is very high withdraw fee for BTC withdraws(120 000 satoshi),which is really too much nowadays.

Reason for people still use YoBit is for several reasons :

I am not sure if the yobit is bad exchanger or should we call it like that way or not. But for me this exchanger is worth using because of its low volume. The low volume gives out less value to the coin and we can buy with lesser value than other market. This gives me window to trade on different exchanger and this is why I use the yobit. It's all about the trading anyway and if it is profitable then who cares whether the exchanger is good or bad. Also though the name of yobit is taken in negative way it doesn't mean that it's really bad one unless and until you experience it that way.

there are reasons for this. firstly those exchange that you may refer to bad exchange have many altcoin than big exchange like binance. in fact, it is even easier for a coin to get listed on yobit than binance. secondly, some large exchanges like bittrex and binance limit the number of registered users. A lot of people are just lazy and use whatever they find first. I've always thought that Yobit was a shady exchange, read quite a few horror stories about them.
As far as I know they do offer some coins exclusively, but I think that says more about the coins in question than about the quality of the exchange.

I still believe in Yobit though. They are still one of the reliable exchanges up to date. They've added YOLO Coin recently, and we will see how it goes. If they want to bring back their reputation and trust, they should do something that could make traders happy in their platform.

Exactly. Apart the avalibility of some listed coins; this was actually my initial thought too. Those scammer who scam people from bad exchanges knows themselves and do their trading in groups. Don't be surprised if it later verified that it one person opening different accounts to trade to him/herself. Though, I still hear few good review about Yobit but I don't think most people can trust it again.

I think your opinion is true. Trading are about circulation money in large limit, we should aware about this finding legit exchange's.
But the problem's is not all legit exchanges has many coins/token available. YoBIT has offer many coin that be available for trading on there, in addition with a group behind the exchanges that running fake activities to make volume transaction increasing. There are many reasons why many people use Yobit. Yobit has been in the market from quite a few years and it has developed over the years. Although it is still a shitty site, it has attracted many users from throughout the world. It offers a wide variety of features such as dice, investbox, yobitcodes etc...
Apart from that it also gives free coins from the forks which not many other exchanges gives. It has supported almost every fork that has ever happened till date. So even though it is a shitty exchange, people still use it because of the features it provides.

Yeah, that's definitely part of it.  If you're looking for the shittiest of coins, you'll find 'em on Yobit--and there are tons of people in this world who love investing in altcoins that go for 1 satoshi.  They think of it as buying a cheap lottery ticket, where if the coin eventually gets pumped, they'll win big.  But most of the garbage that's sold on Yobit has no market whatsoever.  All you see are sell orders, and that's all there will ever be. 

In addition, Yobit hasn't yet turned out to be a complete scam exchange.  You can actually get some trading done there with few problems--I've done it.  On the other hand, I'm totally done using them, since I don't trade anymore and I don't really trust them.

No, let me correct that. There are some shitcoins good for pump and dump that is available on Yobit and apparently not available on any reputable exchange. Probably because Yobit tends to add everything and anything so if you can't find a coin anywhere it is bound to be on Yobit, it hasn't got the best reputation but it is still here and has been going for a few years now. 

If you do have to trade on Yobit keep it quick and small just in case.

The problem is that a lot of the reputable exchanges demand for a lot before you can get listed on them and that sometimes frustrate some projects. However, any serious project will prefer getting listed on a reputable exchange than listing on a shitty exchange where most of the other shitcoins are present.

I have tried this and it is still a bit complex to use though, but for those that love privacy over complexity, then it is a go. Only if the community can increase, this is really going to fly a lot. 

It is really a good idea having an open source P2P exchange as that has always been the main idea in the first place anyway until we ended up missing it with centralized exchanges, but really so far, I have had no problem using bisq as long as you get used to it.

I think it's because the volume of coin is different and more yobit has a lot of coin that can be traded there, although some are scam coin, I once traded on yobit there I saw slow deals and comparison of buy and sell order values very far, people who use chat feature often give FUD.

YoBit is not really as bad compared to some other exchanges. I have traded on some really shitty exchanges and I had to do it because those coins were not listed elsewhere. The main motive of these exchanges is to list as many coins as possible so that they make maximum profits out of the commissions. Yobit is not really a bad exchange. It’s just the different thought of everybody. Moreover, users rarely want to use such a bad reputation because most of people have conception that it brings less of guarantee than any others like binance, bittrex or kucoin. People usually avoid using bad reputation exchange, also to reduce the risk of losing. They almost don’t believe in it too much and afraid of using it. Well. My honest response. They have a reputation which is as crappy as others, but really only when it comes to support. I started out on a slew of tiny exchanges with dodgy reputations... tradesatoshi, Yobit were two of them. Mostly because I tested out the altcoin waters in 2016 and these were really the only platforms that had them. I ended up managing to sell quite a bit and left my Bitcoin balance on Yobit as it was perhaps 0.1 BTC (at the time not even a hundred dollars.

And then when BTC touched 1k, I suddenly had over $100 there. Played around with those exotic alts, made modest profits. Sold some for some major alts, withdrew. Then Yobit happened to be one of the first (the very first, if I recall) to credit BTC balances with BCH, BTG and a whole lot of other Bitcoin forks. Sold everything, ended up with a really decent amount of coin. Withdrew, never looked back.

All these things worked without a hitch. I'd probably never return, but can't say my experience was shitty.

Sometimes low volume on such exchanger call for the lower rates than the other heavy loaded exchangers. People use this point or fact to do margin type of trading. They usually try to do artificial dump and pump also on such sites as they have less volume then it can literally drive the price crazy if someone got some serious bucks in his pockets. Some people could like for example Coinbase, and other could say that 'they're terrible' due to personal experience and other reasons. Lack of research and lack of awareness is the common reason why some people get derailed and ending up on using up these kind of exchangers where reputation is too bad and they would find out later on when they do already experience problems yet they would tend to search up those times and finding out about the exchange but well its too late now you are already hooked up with the problem.

Probably one of the reason why people use these kind of exchanges is because maybe they have invested their money into some ICO that only listed their coins on that exchange, or maybe they heard someone who told them that they will get bonuses  or they have lower transaction and exchange fees and they believed them because that is why new comers do they are easy targets to scammers and people who want to convince them in doing things that are in their favor.

yobit - I do not understand how this stock exchange still exists ... A large commission for withdrawal of funds. They cash in on people who invest in this exchange. They change the terms of investment every week and you will not earn anyway.  So, in principle, I do not respect this exchange and do not advise anyone! They even promote fraudulent coins.

Yobit is used as its place of arbitration, as Yobit often experiences price differences with other exchanges.

The main reason of still yobit exchange exist is that it is one of the oldest exchange and most of the coins before where listed here and their are so many coins to trade and earn. But if you invest high then you can get problem.

If I think the advantage of yobit, it has a better price. In a bad exchange, sometimes coins are pumped or thrown out loud, and then the price difference in other exchanges is very good. The main motivation of this exchange is to register as many coins as possible so they get the most benefit from the commission. Because sometimes exotic tokens are listed there and bounty hunters have no choice but to trade there with cautious and I've heard some news that they are increasing their volumes just so they can scam users secretly. For my review about yobit it seems like it doesn't have the characteristics of a user-friendly platform that guides users efficiently.

Yobit is not a bad exchange but maybe you experience some difficulties or problems in that exchanger before, people today are still using that market so it will be always depending on the person who is having a transaction.

I have a bad experience with Yobit, My first deposit to them failed and when I sent mail to Yobit, they never responded. Support is non-existent with Yobit. They seem to be the biggest scam exchange to be active. They have stolen millions of dollars from people using different techniques. They are been investigated by the Russian government for the frauds.

Youbit or yoshit I am joking  Yobit site is good for a lot of pumps and dumps at a night. I use this site but its very short time. This site support all of the forks, so why people use this exchange site. Also, yobit support Mastercard withdraw and perfect money withdraw so its good for some people.

yes you should avoid yotbit to avoid phishing, if there are still people who continue to trade there maybe because the altcoin they have is only traded there or for other reasons

I used only top 10 ranking exchanges according their trading daily volume and I did not found Yobit include there. So I avoid to use Yobit cause I don't see they have good customer support and low trading volume. One of the important thing for exchange is they should be have friendly customer support and easy to contact and get answer quickly. And so far only Binance, Okex, Huobi, Bibox, Gate.io, Idex have telegram chat direct with Admin that make easy to contact them if we have  problem.

Yobit is an exchange which is listed in coinmarketcap and also have a high volume but recently it had been attacked by the scammers or hackers. They created a pished Yobit site which the users can be hacked if they sign in on that site but people still used this exchange for the reason that their coins are listed there and newly finished ICo tokens are commonly listed there.

If there is a coin you really like and it is listed on the exchange, you don't have any option then to use them, so everyone has their own preference, as regards to exchanges, those using the yobit exchange would have their reason, just the same way you have your own reason of using binance.

A lot of coins that are not in the concept of going to hyip are included in the yobit exchangers and many people experience losses from the exchanger. indeed the name and also the reputation of yobit decreased. this is indeed a risk from the exchanger
