Tokens trading anywhere already? As far as I know you have partnership with Tomochain which mainnet launch in just few days. Are you going swap tokens from Ethereum blockchain to Tomochain blockchain?
Thanks for the question. Because the pre-sale just closed, we have not announced any exchanges yet, but we will be sure to update the community the moment it happens. Thank you for your support. As far as the tokens being on TomoChain blockchain, currently, we are focused on building the Open Innovation Platform to provide full functionality. Kambria is chain agnostic. We will remain on the Ethereum blockchain. Because TomoChain is a scaling solution for ETH, then it is something we would certainly consider in the future, but right now the main focus is building functionality.. In the meantime, our partnership with them will focus on education and training programs. Our vision is aligned globally, and in Vietnam, to educate, train, and empower underserved youth and college age men and women for a brighter tomorrow. Thanks for your support! |

Very glad that the unsold tokens were burned, market is very difficult for new coins as they get listed on exchanges and you guys have quite a high token supply; really hope the price doesn't tank once listed.

I agree that the landscape currently has been less than favorable, but the good news is, that we sold our tokens during what appears to be most difficult time, so we now have the opportunity to be patient and persistent in building our roadmap. We are prepared to weather the storm and continue to work through it. We cannot predict how things will go in terms of people's sentiment, but we are confident that we have the recipes for success, including funding, a great team, talent, and a solid business plan. Our primary concern right now is to #BUIDL and deliver. Supply is a highly debated issue. I am not convinced that supply is as big of a factor that people make it out to be. I understand the logic behind it, but there is no evidence to support that it affects things one way or the other, only speculation. However, reducing the supply for unsold tokens is something our community and advisors encouraged us to consider, so that is what we've done. We care about and listen to our community. We are happy to announce that the supply for KAT has been reduced by a factor of ~25%. The burn will take place on Dec, 19th 2018. Sharing Economy v Token Economy: You DecideWhile the term “sharing economy” first started to appear in the early 2000s, services such as Airbnb, Uber, and Lyft have dramatically increased the popularity of peer-to-peer service delivery over the last ten years. Also referred to as “collaborative consumption”, the sharing economy has successfully harnessed technology to allow individuals to market tangible and intangible personal resources — like an extra room, office space, or a ride — at scale. But as cool and innovative as these sharing economy businesses are, lately they have come under fire. To begin with, some argue that the term “sharing economy” is a misnomer because there is no actual sharing; consumers are merely paying to “access” the goods or services of another person. Moreover, due to the centralized nature of sharing economies, the company providing the platform remains in charge — not the users. Take reputation data, for examples. No matter how many stellar reviews you receive as an Airbnb Superhost, you can’t take it with you to another platform. Airbnb continues to own that data, not the host. Moreover, the company remains in charge of what data to share and display on the site. This type of data-siloing makes users dependent on the intermediary and limits both choice and income for all users.  So while the sharing economy solves old challenges, it does raise new issues. Luckily, humans are awesome in their ability to innovate and improve. Enter the token economy. The token economy aims to deliver what the sharing economy did not. The data and vast profits that formerly were kept by the centralized sharing economy company can now be distributed directly to and shared by users. Because token economies utilize their own form of currency, users can participate, earn, vote and profit equally based on their level of interaction with the site. Users who provide the service benefit more than the company organizing the users, which seems much more democratic and in the spirit of “sharing.” Keep your eyes open for new versions of your old favorites.
