i'm just curious if how many percentage of all the people on earth know about Bitcoin. in my country i think only 10% knows about it. post your opinion guys.
i think it was not only 10% i think its all about 40 to 50% because more countries knows about bitcoin and some of them was banned it so bitcoin is most popular than you know! By recent hype by bitcoin and so many news popped out, it's probably more than 50% people already heard bitcoin but those who trying to know more about it maybe only 20% because human are too lazy to grasp information. But however, that amount has increased so significantly compared to last year or when bitcoin are still not a thing so it's better then.

In my opinion, many people in the world know now, at the end of 2017 people know more about it. Many people know Bitcoin's name. It does not know how it works, how it works. Only those who are involved with Bitcoin know only. Now let's talk about my country. Here 5-8% people know about Bitcoin. More than 20% people just know the name, that is BTC. People in my country do not know very well, its main reason is that BTC did not get legal permission in my country
As long as they know what bitcoin is about they do not really need to know how exactly works since not many people are going to understand the math behind that, as long as they understand what it is the function of bitcoin and why they should adopt it then that is enough, if they know bitcoin is a currency that can be used as an investment as well, their knowledge about bitcoin is good enough. I have heard that more than 80 percent citizens of Japan have heard about bitcoin but that is a very advanced country with respect to technology. If we talk about the whole world, total population is almost 7 billion and in my opinion only 5 to 10 percent would have heard about crypto currencies at most. Even among these, a lesser number of people would be dealing with bitcoin or any other digital coin. Crypto currencies still have a long way to go.

Well in our country, I think there are only 20% knows about bitcoins, the rest did not and some are confusing about it. Some wanted to know and wanted to earn but maybe the saw the news about scam with bitcoins they are being doubt about it and no more interested to join any investments regarding bitcoins.

I consider millions individuals thinks about bitcoin. Bitcointalk gathering itself has a large number of clients and it truly helped spread the news about bitcoins. The examples of overcoming adversity on bitcoin makes it prominent. From clothes to newfound wealth they say. Bitcoin has a considerable measure of stories like that. Bitcoin cost is additionally tempting that is the reason many individuals like to contribute on bitcoin than securities exchanges. Bitcoin continues getting mainstream and it may involve time when dominant part of us will be a bitcoin hodler.

According to G20 leaders during their summit meeting they are not imposing regulations to bitcoin because its only 1%of the world population uses bitcoin according to them bitcoin cannot affect world economy. If that's the case bitcoin will have bigger opportunity for improvement. Because of that percentage there are about 99%of the world population still to used bitcoin in the future.

In my own point of view, i think about only 70% of peole who knew about bitcoin today because since it started posting it in social medias and broadcasting it in television, bitcoin become more famous and more people become more interested to invest and to use bitcoin in their daily lives. But only 40% of 70% uses bitcoin because some of them are afraid to invest in bitcoin.

If you take a civilized society that watches TV, reads financial news, such people know about bitcoin by 70-80%. But, if you take our whole world and the entire population of the planet, including the wild Mayan tribes, then it is difficult to give the right answer, maybe 40%

I think that 10% would be the people who are truly knowledgeable enough about bitcoin but as far as the number of people who have invested to it or to those who just heard about it then I would say it would be about 30% of the population around the world or maybe even more.

randomly I expect every 1 person for every 10k people, they is who a really observes about BTC and cryptocurrency, while every 10 person for every 100k people, they are who know about the existence of BTC and cryptocurrency but did not show interest maybe due to the investment risks to be encountered, while others may be just to watching or waiting the right time to join. and I believe on average daily always there new participation from the public to engage with cryptocurrency for their own reasons. so we wait and see how bigger the cryptocurrency comunity

If you asked how many in the world, I think just 50 percentage not more know about bitcoin. And half of them use and participate in bitcoin. Just imagine if bitcoin used by 50 percentage and more, it will increase the value of bitcoin, and push dolar to drop deeper.

If I have to guess I'd say about 85% would know about bitcoin but out of that 85%, only 15% invest in it. Majority of the people in the world can't handle cryptocurrency so they rely more on their jobs and fiat cash.

In my country there may be -15 percent. And this is the percentage of young people. If the government in each country supports bitcoin, this percentage will increase significantly.

This is something we are all very curious about but as far as I know there is not a way to tell exactly how many people know about bitcoin, I suppose that in developed countries there is a lot of knowledge about what is bitcoin even if many people have not already adopt it, but this is bound to change in the future when bitcoin becomes a true currency that we can actually use in our everyday lives. Lately a lot of mass media have been talking about the crypto currency, but only the information is very different, both negative and positive. The society does not know all the subtleties of the crypto currency. And what should they be afraid of, and what is not. Therefore, the popularity of crypto currency is very low. Bad publicity is still publicity, what the media is not realizing is that the more they talk about bitcoin and the more they say it's bad the more people can do their own research and come to their own conclusions so even bad publicity can be good, but at the same time for those that choose not to do their own research this will create a misunderstanding of what bitcoin is about and what they can expect out of it.

There are lots of people that are making use of Bitcoin and I believe they are up to a million people, and likely to be even more than that. But you can’t really tell the number of people, I mean knowing the specific number of people that are involved, but you can still guess a round number. Reason why it’s not possible to know how many people using Bitcoin is because we don’t do registration, and you can even see a particular person using up to ten wallets. So it’s quite hard or impossible to know.

As of now lot of people aware of Bitcoin some of them are interested but there's some don't even care about what is Bitcoin. I thing people is still wondering if Bitcoin is safe and that's why they are some that not studying the currency of crypto. I think the percentage of all people on earth know about Bitcoin is 30 percent its just my opinion. people is aware that Bitcoin is real but they don't know how to earn it they don't even planning to try to earn Bitcoin but they are aware. just my thoughts

It seems to me that the exact number of users of crypto currency can not be determined by transactions and the number of wallets. especially since the statistical data after the polls also does not correspond to reality.

I've read an article that bitcoin users in the world is not more than 1%, of course this is difficult to prove because bitcoin users are anonymous and it will be difficult to know who are bitcoin users.
