That is true about the earnings ,because as the bounty go a lomg way there are many participants that will be added to the numbers of campaigners and the tokens will divided among the groups in ratio according to ranks and week of participation so ,the earning will less when the bounty exceed the allotted time for that project.

Read carefully the conditions of the bounty campaigns! If a fixed amount of tokens is allocated for the bounty campaign and no tokens are added during the extension of the terms of the bounty, then Yes, the amount of the reward will not change significantly. This is provided that the calculation takes place in stakes.

I totally agree with you that the longer the bounty the lesser the reward . If the bounty stays long more participants increases and the stakes  are reduced and is given less . So try giving a good research for a bounty !

My friend just told me recently that he is leaving the bounty that we both joined last January. The ICO has been delayed many times and it is getting longer. He said that the longer the bounty period of an ICO, the fewer the coins that you will earn. So it is true based from your experience? Should I also leave or stay?
I personally do not like to stay on a long bounties because most of the bounty campaigns they extend the bounty period without increasing the bounty pool. In such a case the amount we get is really low and we do not get paid for the effort we put. But in some cases that if the project is very promising and if there is a potential that the token prices will be high, it is a risk to leave such a campaign at the middle.

This is usually true. If you look at the possibilities that will happen during a long time bounty, a lot of participants will be able to participate and thus the share of the bounty will be divided into many parts and the shares will lessen. I think the most profitable bounty is those with 2-3 weeks only if you can find one.

Longer bounty makes smaller income. It is true that in 2017 bounty last 4 to 8 weeks. With 4 weeks bounty you can earn 3 to 6 eth. It was  amazing. Now bounty up to  8 to 16 week will earn about 2 eth. Too many ICo fail. They not reach the softcap. Many developers not transparant too about the fund. Now I leave bounty that not update the data weekly . It will show that bounty will take longer time.

Well, not always this rule works this way. The worse the bounty - the worse the reward. But the quality of the company's bounty consists of many factors. Do not judge by the length of the company alone, analyze everything!  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Yes, it all depends on how they think, if they think that the gift will decrease, they will turn away, we are better patient with the current situation, because everything will improve.

Researching what the price is going to be is better than not knowing what it is you invested in this year.

Almost all of the ICOs launched in 2018 extended their crowdsale since they have not get their targeted funds for their project thus extending also the bounty campaign and in the process, bounty hunters prospective income is greatly affected.

You are right I have observed same thing. There is one project I did campaigns for, they delay work for months and till today but no to pay worker well. That was the worst bounty project campaigns I have done. But what I'm expecting from this new project I'm currently doing will make me to smile more.. Joy is coming

This post is true. I have been in such situations before. Some few weeks bounty pay more because the longer the bounty the more new people join in and reduce the stakes bounty hunters ought to share. It is mostly unfavourable to  low rank members especially in signature bounty.

In my experience, I can say that if a bounty lasts a long time it means that the project badly collects investments and the risk that it will soon close very high.

It would have to depend on what the project is and how many stakes you get for the task that you are in.

I am not sure if bounty period has a bearing on the profit to be earned by the bounty hunters. But based on my past experiences, not all the time, those that are having a longer campaign period results to huge profit and sometimes not. Therefore, consistency do not exist. Patience is surely prioritized and such factors do not affect the profit that one would earn.

Just be patience all the time my friend don't leave your bounty campaign that you promoted.  Because we can not predict how much will you earn from that bounty if they are succeeded. Just focus promoting your bounty campaign and think positivity always.

The participants are also increasing. Bounty is extended but the allocation is not added. This means that we work longer and the rewards are less. Many ICOs fail, sales targets are not achieved so the ICO is extended, that is what happens in 2018.

Your friend is absolutely right. If there is no limit to the number of participants in the campaign, too many people enter the campaign at that extended time. In addition, if the campaign is heavily delayed, this is usually due to a slow collection of funds, which in turn means a low interest in the project, which means a low cost of the token at the end.
