I invest in Bitcoin long term, but I can see times when you can justify selling. For example, if you bought earlier in 2017 and then saw the price make a huge gain to close to $20,000, you could have sold for a really good profit. Then you could have waited for the drop to buy back much cheaper. I think if you can time the big increases and corrections, there is room to make some decent profit short term.

for now on to much people mining bitcoin ,and because of this difficulty jump.most of them could not recover operational cost.and some of them sell their miner because of this.

I think the BTC price will not rise higher. Because there are so many altcoin born, compete with BTC. But it is important now that countries are banned from BTC, they are introducing more stringent regulations in Crypto. It is difficult for investors, so BTC is not as attractive as before. That's my personal opinion.

Yes, I absolutely do agree with you. The reason most people have losses is because they can hold bitcoin for a very long term, they are probably ignorant of the fact one earn more profits from investing in bitcoin when one holds for a long term.
The price of bitcoin is very volatile and so holding for a short term is not a very good idea. I personally have been holding up my bitcoins from last year when it went into a dip and since then I've not sold. What I do to earn more is participate in signature campaigns and ICOs.
ICOs are a very good way to make profits in a short period of time. So I'd suggest if anyone can't hold bitcoins for a long term, they should resort to participating in ICOs.
