There is indeed some truth in such statements. Now the crypto market is experiencing very difficult times, so many altcoins do not develop. well this year we learn the hard way. we now know most of  the project are empty shell. no development support, no coin created, just some people selling some useless coin. 1 of the reason market crush is due to developer themselves cash out their investor money and  leave investor nothing. seen this many times in Hong Kong Stock market. people selling house, cars, heirlooms, empty their saving just to gamble on the market. at the end, they got nothing. tragic truth.

Yes, unfortunately it is absolutely true. But I think now the situation is improving and becoming less of a scam.

Well, it is not about the promoter anymore because cryptocurrency community is all that matters now. When sometimes project are abandoned, if such project has a strong case use in cryptocurrency ecosystem, there will be interest in such project and believe it, it will be successful!

However this is the 4.0 era , But the coin actually used only for trading, making profit. It does not have any effect in reality. It may take some time, when all countries in the world accept cryptocurrency it will work.

Yes. I agree with you. Most altcoins are scams, and scams! Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a thorough analysis of ico projects.

Scams are usually profiting from people that don't read into a project. Reading the project then investing goes far.

A lot of people investing after reading the column "gainers and loosers" on coinmarketcap. To read and research is too difficult, they are here for quick and easy money.

Mostly of people are following others or shillers. Remember when the market has been losing a lot of value from its peak price and then so many new complaints thread about that in here. Because a lot of people consider the crypto as the easiest way to get money, i thought that you have seen there was even a child that has become a millionaire caused by crypto.

Yes, now there aren't worth a lot. But think about the future, when the market will recover. And it will recover in any way, maybe not in 2018, but it will. Think about how much your coins will worth in one or two years. Stay calm and hodl.

I don't agree when you supposed that almost ALtcoins are worth Zero, this is just right with some garbage coins. What do you think about coins such as : Ethereum, Ripple, Neo, Cardano.... is it really no value?

indeed this decline is not good for those who have a lot of crypto assets because they are afraid that if the prices on the market are getting lower it will hurt even lose their assets. but there is a positive thing the price in the market has decreased, this can be used to reinvest because of low prices and affordable. for beginners this is good but not for the old, what else has a lot of assets.

Most alts doesnt has any product. mostly is getting hype and spec. information to increase the price. I think this ridiculous situation in such an environment, the real project is a serious challenge to work in a robust team. but I hope that this situation will change in a positive way for good projects.

Most are just a copycat of existing projects who are offering much better system, but in the real world there's no product to develop, a pump and dump coins which whales loves to play with, it's the majority of this alt community that's why it's really needed to have a better research and good understanding of this technology before you invest your money, like bitcoin there's also some of those coins which coexist with btc that will survive
it's our task to select them and choose the right one.
