How long will this bear market continue?

It will continue until bull run starts to take over and start the run. Right now, I think that the bear market will be here for all 2018 and maybe a little of 2019 or even summer of 2019 as there are no signs yet that could result the end of bear market.

I strongly believed that bear market will end in the 2nd week of September it's because since crypto was started long time ago mostly bull  market will start at the 4th quarter of the year and i hope so that it will continue to happen this year.

I agree, a lot will depend on the ruling of the SEC. While it seems unlikely the Bitcoin ETF is getting a pass, if it were to happen then no doubt that this will trigger a big upward movement. Sooner or later it will be approved anyway, the pressure from financial institutions is simply to big.

Its really hard to tell. I believe bear market situation is happening almost every year. Maybe because there are months of the year where almost every coin experience price dropped depending on its supply and demand stuff and maybe because a lot of investors prefer to invest in the last quarter of the year instead of investing in the beginning of the year.
