I know it sounds crazy but I have this strange idea that most people on the board here are miners with a stash of at least 1000 to 10,000 or more coins.  It is interesting to see some of you post things like 0.001 or small numbers.  Are you serious?  You can get .12 a month just advertising at the bottom of your posts here so it seems that you are all just making that up.

I am not a big holder.  Wish I was.  I have more than 0.1 though. Wink

You can actually get upto 1.2 BTC a month from your signature.

how?

more or less retired.

I have about 0.24 and am uncertain as to whether to buy all in or wait for the impending crash.

At the moment I have 0.08 BTC Tongue. I've spent 3 BTC last week, so I need to fill my wallet again. I want to buy a few BTC, but I'll wait for a week or 2 to see what the price does.

I support your spending, bitcoin is currency, not treasure.

1870.  I had over 2300 from mining and from my shops but I sold about 500 to buy a car.  Its turning out to be the most expensive car I am ever likely to own.   Cry

Ouch $100K Car

it could be for 250 USD in 2 weeks Smiley

That's why I don't know what to do. The prices were this high in April, and the dropped afterwards. I think the prices will go down a bit when the Chinese stop acting crazy.

and everyone keeps waiting for their real estate market to crash, too.

yeah and thats not going to happen, you will not convince a single Chinese person or bank or government official to sell any land/property they own for less than they purchased it adjusted for inflation.

...bitcoin is currency, not treasure.

Spot on.  Not worth anything until you actually exchange it for something.  Until then, just some numbers on your screen.

Right now, ~12. Could be more depending on how my bitcoin related investments turn out.
If I lose all of my invested BTC, I end up with about 10.6
