Why the price of bitcoin rapidly going down

The news in term of development are actually decent, with LN getting closer to a release, so I think this is just temporary.

My observation why bitcoin was going down because of the negative feedback by other people and lastly the investors that dump their coins.

Maybe because of the current news about the big exchange which is binance. This is just another short term dump and don't expect bitcoin to bounce back instantly because of the news about G20 summit, it will take time before we finally see bitcoin at $12k level again.

Just saw that news, media putting too much effort now to broadcast every happenings in crypto seems too popular now, i wonder until when they will manage to do it. It always make the market in shocked.

The recent fall in bitcoin price is mainly due to the news that binance exchange is ordered by Japan's watchdog FSA to close its operations in Japan.Also the G20 summit which was expected to rule in favour of cryptos has been postponed to July.That was like emptying the fuel of a rocket which was marching towards the sky.Since no other negative factors seem to exist for now,we could expect bitcoin price to recover soon.

BTC Price is having a hard time of going up,  as huge millionaires are placing sell position to bring bitcoin down.
As the result,  people are disappointed and selling their bitcoins even at loss.

The fact is bitcoin price goes up if there is some good news regarding bitcoin acceptance and development (in this case scale solution, i.e. LN).
Bitcoin spike since the end of 2017 (maybe November) and corrected on January 2018. Current price probably a fair price for bitcoin according to the two factor, acceptance and development. If LN can work so well, bitcoin may hold a new fair position above $10,000. But for now, $8-9K will be enough.

I think it is just the characteristics of bitcoin. If it goes down, it just mean there are lots of supply in the market. Its demand maybe affected by news and other issues.

Yes I agree that bitcoin rapidly going down due to banning of some social medias.Advertising is the most important in terms of encouraging investors all around the world but sadly due to banning and restrictions of spreading ads the value of each currency was affected because lots of investors are in doubt already to invest in some ICO project because for them those project may not succeed because of lack of advertisement.

I think this is temporary.
There is a rise there must be down, once we know the end of 2017 is the peak of the rise btc so we must be prepared to face the price decline in early 2018.
I am sure once the outstanding negative issues are over and we are able to answer the issue, bitcoin prices will go up.

I think the rise in the business world is a natural thing, as well as the bitcoin that goes down. Bitcoin dropped dramatically this is due to rumors outside, he said many countries prohibit the trading of virtual currency so that people's trust to invest decreases and bitcoin prices decline.

The main reason why the price of bitcoin rapidly down its because the demand of the market goes low and the supply goes high and one of the contribution of bitcoin price rapidly down are the people who are panic selling their bitcoin.

I think the main point is governmental understanding of the advantages of BTC. So,  they want to develop something new like BTC, but do not know to do this. They can only ban or try to regulate this sphere by  strange legal solutions, which do not effect the nature of BTC, but this attemps decline the recent price level
