The bulls will start running in May due to the Consensus. This event will have a great impact on the market! So it is recommended to start purchasing some good coins especially those who sponsored the event. Also, the second half of the year will naturally be the height of the market as it was last year. Trends/patterns are consistent most of the time. So it would be wise to follow those trends as our guide. I am optimistic that 2018 will end great for most of us!

In the recent years Consensus had a very positive impact but it seems this year event that event cannot do the magic, that is concerning. I start to believe the pessimists were right and we will still stay in the bear market over the summer until a series of major positive news can reverse the trend.

I am less optimistic, people thought in March things will go up but did not, then April was indeed a bit better but with May half through the sentiment seems again to be more bearish. I would be surprised if that changes overnight...we need a bit more patience I think.

What will happen to the crypto market in the following months nobody could tell but all the crypto community is hoping for a fully recovery and a new ATH for bitcoin and altcoins. This will depend of the news and FUD about regulations, all the fear about governments regulating crypto made a lot of damage to the market already. Basically all we need is positive news about government embracing crypto and the blockchain technology instead of regulations, then we will see a recovery. I hope to see that over the next months.

You are waiting for a miracle, and you want governments to spread the positive news that they are going to embrace cryptocurrencies and that is not going to happen, people need to wake up and forget about those dreams, governments understand very clearly what it is at stake here they are not going to renounce the control they have over the economy and the people just because a new technology was created.
