I just wish most bitcoin investors would neglect the negative news and talk about positive news only.
We are free to wish that but it's not going to happen. Most of the investors especially the first timers can't do this. Let's encourage each other to post more good news in bearish times. I think that will be counterproductive.
This will be the solution to all the bad news that we are getting through, encouraging others to tell good news instead of the bad ones.

Bitcoin continues to be pounded by negative news. Unconfirmed reports about Twitter following the footsteps of Facebook and Google in banning cryptocurrency ads pushed Bitcoin’s price below $8,000 on March 18.
Most likely, such prohibitions occur in the framework of the attack on bitcoins and other crypto currency, which has been going on for about three months. It is unlikely that such prohibitions occur one after another spontaneously and accidentally. However, facebook and google explain their position by combating fraud in these social networks. How does it actually show time. This was I supposed to say on where such prohibitions do come after one another where theres a particular company prohibits cryptocurrency the other one follows up and as you said in just a matter of 3 months we have already heard out big institutions having decisions regarding to this which isn't really a good thing on my part.It might reduce fraud but limiting out exposure isn't really good at all. the answer is obvious! a large amount of cryptocurrency advertising clogs the Internet and prevents ordinary users from easy and easy use of the Internet + google and facebook are closely connected with the authorities, and this directly affects their decisions about the cryptocurrency!
Clogs the internet and accessibility? Seriously mate?I don't think this is a valid reason.I do rather believe that government do always have an involvement with such decisions been made. With events like this are very affecting investors because they will feel worried about the incident, and with the development of crypto many who do not like and oppose it, actually what they want. and besides lately a lot of bad news or bad news that makes investors afraid.

I think the suspension of advertising is temporary. I think that advertising will be restored when they adopt strict laws on the conduct of ICO so that there are no scammers in ICO.

It's no secret that huge percentage of ICOs turn out to be plain scam. Very similar situation to what it was with IPOs in the beginning. Even I myself, being quite anarchistic, agree that ICOs do need some regulations to stop this muddy wave of scammers. Once things settle down I'm sure advertising ban will be lifted.

It is not Facebook or Google ban news which forced the Bitcoin price to fall that much. But it was MtGox trustee who sold over 30k Btc and 30k Bch, and you can add the panic sale of crypto traders along with Mtgox trustee. Just forget about Fb & Google and move on... Just don't give much importance to this type of things. They are from the centralized world and crypto is the decentralized thing and it is really doesn't matches. Remember, when China banned crypto? Does crypto vanished from the world after China ban? But the price went to Saturn as far as I remember. The Chinese ban has no practical meaning because the Chinese are trading on many other exchanges, such as bittrex, binance, and the purchasing power is still very strong.

I don't think twitter/ facebook bans are effecting the market. the bans aren't in place and won't be until June i think. to say this is dropping the market is naive. the market is being manipulated by whales and their positions on futures exchanges. plain and simple. This is why we are yo-yo'ing and smaller gains in the market when there is no real negative news
I do not even know why the OP would have to put the topic like that. These guys are not banning cryptocurrency; they are banning adverts related to cryptocurrency as long as they cannot show the legitimacy of the company and the ICO. Some ICOs are still running on this platform, and it is a way to just try as much as possible to curb out some scam ICOs for the investor’s sake, so I wonder why some people are trying to pick FUD from nothing.

And now we can add Microsoft's Search Engine "Bing" on the list that has banned crypto ads. As for the reasons, they wanted to stop scammers using their platform to spread their illegal activities.
However, I still thinks that its everyone job to really search and do our homework and not just to invest our money on a certain ICO and no amount of banning will stop them from doing so. It might lessen but not totally eradicate and I'm sure that scammers will continue to do their dirty work despite this bans from social media giants.

Of course, one can assume that certain norms will be created to create an ico company that will complicate the work of scammers. But How will this all happen? Where is the guarantee that scammers will not find a way to circumvent these restrictions.

Haha ignore corporates move against crypto currencies. They are mostly deal with the international money transfer method and USD. They will not allow the blockchain platform to survive in the market. Check why they are creating the own blockchain by Google and why Facebook creating its own crypto currency. I am sure they will come with the centralized mode of operation. Everyone here in the forum knows centralized platform cryptos are not good one to invest at all. In that case how do you consider this these site ban on cryptos are the legit move to help the people.

The reports on banning of cryptocurrency on some media outlet is just a rumors deliberately by some people to spread widely to destruct the image of crypto in the world wide market.

Maybe it is because they are planning to have their own cryptocurrencies, and that is only the coin that they will promote and not those coins that they didn't own, but I think it is not totally banned. As of now, I still see some different crypto currencies in Facebook and multiple people still promoting some altcoins and also bitcoin.

My opinion is that they fear that the blockchain projects will compete with them. The crypto community is strong enough these days and can resist them very well. Pay attention to desearch.com It's a decentralized search engine which is related to crypto mostly. Also, matchico.com is a place where ICOs meet investors. There are others as well. For example, BitClave is developing a decentralized monetized search engine. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=coOgmyEDsgw To summarize all this, everything is fine!

They didn't ban crypto currencies they are just banning the ICOs because most of the ICOs are turning into scam which might ruin their reputation and now microsoft also banned them on their bing search engine but we need to clear that it is ICO not Crypto currencies.

Facebook, google are banning or avoiding cryptocurrency because of some fake news about cryptocurrency. Those fake news gives negative publicity that is why some people doesn't invest to it which gives cryptocurrency drops its value.
