Perhaps they are afraid that many criminals will use them as tools for fraud or maybe in the future they will release their own crypto
Not like they are afraid, a lot of scammers were already using the ad space for fraudulent activities with so many fake ICOs being pushed out there to potential investors, some phishing being done via the advert space and so many more. All these things were already becoming a crazy thing generally for the whole space, and this development actually brought some little bit of sanity into the space as far as I am concerned, except for people who just want to see the negative sides to everything.

I see a couple of reasons to ban advertising from Google and Facebook - ICO scams all arround. Big money wants to maintain status quo. Big companies live side by side with great banks that do not want crypto to have success.

This is just another example how people are totaly misinterpreting information. They see and hear what they want to see, taking into account only what they want and not what is realy the fact.
Facebook and other social media are not banning crypto and they don't have nothing against it but they are trying to protect the users from so many fraudulent advertising, moving the responsibility out of them. And cryptocurrencies are not any kind of competition to social media, don't know how some have gotten that conclusion.
It would be realy great if people would finaly start to use the brain.

I heard that facebook is planning to create thier own crypto coin , this is also the reason why they ban crypto related ads. Maybe google do also want to follow the facebook's path , thats why google is also banning other crypto ads.

these two big companies only wants their coin to become popular , in which case they do not allow any adverts aside from their own coins.

Not only facebook and google but i do also heard that youtube is also banning crypto ads . Although i dont think is real because i still see some crypto related ads on it.

Bitcoin continues to be pounded by negative news. Unconfirmed reports about Twitter following the footsteps of Facebook and Google in banning cryptocurrency ads pushed Bitcoin’s price below $8,000 on March 18.
As far as I know Facebook and google are not into banning cryptocurrency. They are just trying to avoid scams, fraud advertisement which I think is good because this will prevent people from being scam. Nowadays, scammers use social media to scam people because it is more easy to approach people that way. That is why many people are being scam with a fraud advertisement. This is I think is a good move for facebook and google.

This is not a ban on cryptocurrency in general but only a ban on advertising of ICO projects. This problem has been raised so many times but many people believe in this from a misunderstanding of the situation.

Bounty is safe indeed, but lending is not so safe. It's not that hard to get scammed there if you are not careful. Also even if you had altcoins as collateral it could just lose value in an instant. So you can't say those are safe

Because they don't want to be used by those people who are using bitcoin to scam other people and using facebook or some social media's. They using it as advantage that they can promote more in using social media that's why facebook and google ban crypto ads not the whole thing.

I do not think that they are afraid of the competition of companies and products developed on blockchain technology. They banned the advertising of ICO because there is a lot of scam among the companies and this market is not regulated.

Yes they are thinking as you wrote as they found that think to adopt to stop these scammers. But there is an option if they do not want to be against crypto then they have to make some rules for the crypto related ads and they have to approve these ads manually so that they can remove/reject those ads which are from scammers and not from any authentic people.

If they do like that then it is possible that we get the advertisements of crypto again on there. But I do not think that they will have a well disciplinary system like that which caused them to stop the complete industry.
This action of them are showing all of those industries as numb industries which cannot handle to find the scam and legit ads to their platform.

until now much information circulated that google and facebook make a ban because the goal is to avoid fraud mode and many people cheat using the road through social media because as we know that almost 99% of people use social media in business or in life always use social media as a means of life and I think this is the right way to avoid facebook and google more carefully again in advertising bitcoin.

Well I have never hear any of this news so as well as i think it is all fake news and bitcoin will never be ban at any cost, I can see still people are using their social media accounts for bitcoin advertisement and I can see a lot of google websites where we can get all positive informative stuff related to bitcoin so such fake news come and go no need to listen or trust anyone.

I do not know much about the reason they ban cryptocurrency ads in their media, but what I hear the reason they ban crypto ads is to prevent scammers from using their media to deceive many people in the crypto world, and they are forced to do the author
I think so Undecided

The policy of Facebook prohibits ads that promote those types of products and services “that are frequently associated with misleading or deceptive practices". In their opinion, cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Litecoin and Ethereum, and initial coin offerings have all hit the mainstream, which has promptly resulted in a number of scams. However, there are many scams in other industries which are not and will never be banned

From what I know they're banning all about cryptocurrency news because it violates their terms
They don't want their media become spread something 'illegal' in some country that banned crypto

Facebook, Google and I think Twitter also are not completely banning cryptocurrency, they have decided to stop the ads of ICO which may be harmful for the audience and personally you also can't blame these companies as due to the recent attraction of people towards Bitcoin many people have started fake ICO's in order to grab and run with people's money. Recently, many ads shown by these platform about ICO failed at market very badly due to which a majority of the investors suffered. The idea of banning ads is taken into practice to safe there costumers from falling into fake Ponzi schemes.

I think the low price of bitcoin is not due to the ban on advertising in Google or Facebook. It seems to me that the price is not allowed up whales.

I don't like that the cryptocurrency is banned. I believe that the more people know about the coin the more expensive it is.

Facebook and Google are very progressive, tech and modern companies. They are leaders in their kind of business. I may suppose that they have a mercantile interest. What am I about? I mean that this companies have lost the time and opportunity to be  leaders in crypto industry or to earn well enough on crypto and now they prevent evolving crypto industry on their field. I think that it is greediness.
