EGEM devs, how does it feel when you deny a security disclosure request? It caused so much damage to you only because you ignored me and treated me as shit. Now this is what you get.

And your code is still incorrect even with your new commits. Take several weeks and find a real developer to review it before relaunch. Otherwise, wait for your judgement. Smiley

"Good luck to you sir."

Chain was reset to remove the bug which was posted in this thread.
All coins mined up to block 9200 will be refunded.
The dev fee address will pay this out once it has enough to do so.

Maybe you should ask eth hacker what else is still wrong with your code, given that you ignored him once and got pwned, hard.

Haha, no. Your chain contains another bug.

You ignored my advice twice, so your judgement awaits. I will wait longer this time so you cannot relaunch again.

What a scam this is... I mean, after one serious bug, the developer is so incompetent that they even refuse to take time to review the code.

LOL this is great. It sounds like Etherhacker is going to have revenge for the shit they tried to pull on Ellaism. I read some other thread that said EGEM devs went over to Ellaism discord just to start a blaming campaign and saying EGEM was worth a lot, whereas Ella was worthless.

Anyway, I did some digging and found this Tweet:

https://twitter.com/EllaismCoin/status/979863150978727937

Despite the EGEM team having their own coin, they decide to post this troll tweet because they're in control of the old Ella twitter. Wtf?

Anyway, when EGEM is up and running for real, in a month, i believe Etherhacker might do something scary. Instead of trying to be helpful and revealing the bug, he's probably going to exploit it... and then I don't even want to be near EGEM then.

But good luck you guys!

While I support this project, I do have some concerns...

Firstly, the coin is launching with its own exchange. Is this run by the devs of the coin? If so, are we trading FIAT>Crypto or Crypto-Crypto, and are we trusting our bitcoins to the dev team to hold for us?

Secondly, look at the breakdown of the dev fees across the ERAs.

BLOCK ERAS
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
5000 - 2,500,000 (ERA0)                                                     8 EGEM Block reward + 1 (ERA0) DEV CUT: 11.11%
2,500,001 - 5,000,000 (ERA1)                                              4 EGEM Block reward + 0.75 (ERA1) DEV CUT: 15.8%
5,000,001 - 7,500,000 (ERA2)                                               2 EGEM Block reward + 0.5 (ERA2) DEV CUT: 20%
7,500,001 - 10,000,000 (ERA3)                                               1 EGEM Block reward + 0.25 (ERA3) DEV CUT: 20%
10,000,001 - 12,500,000 (ERA4)                                               0.5 EGEM Block reward + 0.1 (ERA4) DEV CUT: 16.67%
12,500,001 - 15,000,000 (ERA5)                                                0.25 EGEM Block reward + 0.05 (ERA5) DEV CUT: 16.67%
15,000,001+ (ERA6)                                                                   0.125 EGEM Block reward + 0.025 (ERA6) DEV CUT: 16.67% (16.67% forever/until coin cap is created)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

So for the first 5000 - 2,500,000 (ERA0) blocks, they get 2,495,000 EGEM for themselves

At the end of ERA3 they'll have 6,250,000 EGEM and everyone else will have 37,500,000 (16.66666666666667% of all EGEM coins)

Does any of this raise any red flags or suspicion for anyone else? Could the devs please weigh in on this and explain why the dev fee is so high, and why it is needed at all?

why do not you reply to this comment?
Why the reward to the miners is reduced by 50% and the development reward by 25%
It's not proportional!
It should be like this:
8+1
4+0.5
1+0.25
0.5+0.125
0.25+0,0625
0,125+0,03125

The Ellaism community fund is a donation based fund that is meant to be used to further the interests of the Ella community.  Some people have donated to it directly, and some through a small percentage donation through mining.  It is held in a multi signature wallet.

The Egems devs were at one time part of the Ella dev team, and were signers to the community fund.  When they left over a disagreement, the community fund is essentially frozen since there are not enough signers to move the coins.  Instead of doing the right thing and giving back control to the community.  Since the Egems devs decided to leave the Ella coin and community behind, it would only be the fair and right thing to do to hand back control to the Ella community.  But that has not happened.

So if you want to support the Egems project, everything will be great if you always agree with these devs, no matter what they wanna do.  But if you disagree, you can see that they have not done the right thing in the past.

Yes, it may be "in the past" and you are "over it" and "moving forward" all that.  But I wouldn't let a "past" pedophile baby sit my kids, no matter how much they claim to be "over it", and I bet you wouldn't neither.

To be fair, that doesn't sound like they stole the community fund. It just sounds like they wanted to leave Ella for good, no strings attached.

I can't really blame them? Who would the community fund go to? It would just go to the core team of Ella now (which is just Ellaismer.)

It'll probably end up being a wallet that ends up being untouched and untoucheable. Even when Ella is worth $1,000 or $500 each, it's just going to be crypto candy that people wish they had access to, but don't.

Forced hodl'ing lol.

So if you let a banker manage your money, you are ok that if he switches jobs to another bank, that money just stays in the bank and you can't access it anymore?  That's a responsible and grown up thing to do in your opinion?

Hey bud, you got the facts wrong. First off, not everyone on EGEM is a signer on that wallet. Second, the team offered to refund the ELLA fund to the contributors of that wallet since they believe that core dev and his "advisors" are the same person and hold all the keys to the other wallets. Still waiting on response.

Hey, bud, - why are you trying to rain on our parade? Submit a proper bounty request in private as is standard. This way everybody is happy. This is not a hobby coin so please don't FUD it. None of the ETH coins would have ever moved from that wallet because the ETH devs are pretty good guys - I know because when I worked on ELLA I asked them questions about the code and they asked me if ELLA was a copy paste scam. I told them no its not - its a legit coin. Now, please give us same respect.

First, I notice every time that I post you pounce. Why is that. I am not a developer, in fact in post 1 its not my name. Why do you continue to attack just my comments? Second I was right in my second reply, anything I said would have ended in this same result. What I dont understand is this.My first reply to you was a question. Not a statement. And then you went off. All your posts in this thread are attacks.  I am taking it personal as you only reply to my comments. I ASK HOW can we end this?

Mining this has been interesting so far. No early easy mining rewards, just slow and steady. Some good amount of FUD, with a real bug found early on in the launch by ethhacker. Quite a start.

I have earned 38.23 EGEM since launch with 280 MHs so yes I agree slow and steady. The hash on the chain has been ridiculously good - even through the soft launch adjustment - and we are starting to close in on that 13 second block time just like before.

 Cool
