Will bitcoin be replace by ethereum/ripple

Neither Ethereum nor Ripple are anywhere near of bitcoin, so at present, i don't see any of them would replace bitcoin in near future. However, Ethereum is a very good project, i believe it has a high potential in future.

Maybe that won't happen, the market capitulation of bitcoins with all altcoins is very different. I don't think about how many years it must pass and with a significant increase for one of the altcoins who want to replace bitcoin in the first position. In addition to the price movements that always occur, bitcoin is always the beginning of an increase or decrease for altcoins, if bitcoin goes down then the altcoin will also decline.

yes . many are saying that xrp is too different from other cryptos and some even says that this coin is centralized since it was backed by banks  ?  etherium on the other hand is a full crypto   .  eth is i think have more potential to de throne bitcoin than ripple   . not just on the price comparison between xrp and eth but also because of the purposes as well  . eth has a lot of uses  , aside from a currency and an investment asset  .

I don't think bitcoin is really in competition with ripple or ethereum because it has been proven in the past that those coins cannot really create the market of there own and there depends on what happened to bitcoin for both grow and fall.  I think bitcoin is leading and this leadership is going to remain with us for long.

I guarantee that it will never be possible because bitcoin is the coin that is the main part of all cryptocurrency, the price of ethereum and ripple also has price movements depending on the movement of bitcoin.

I really can't imagine too it's ever gonna happen. Bitcoin, Ethereum and Ripple are very different and hard to compare. Nevertheless I assume that Bitcoin will remain the lead currency in the crypto currency market and will never be replaced by Ethereum or Ripple. Should it happen, I hope it won't be Ripple, because it's a centralized currency.

i still think it is hard for altcoins to compete with BTC at this moment when BTC is still very powerful and market cap is too much dominating other altcoins, i know ETH has so much potential to become much greater but its platform is too much and there is not much reason for us to keep an altcoin with unlimited supply, but Ripple is a good competitor to replace BTC when its platform is much more useful in real life and transactions is faster and cheap than BTC.

Neither Ripple nor Ethereum can replace Bitcoin in the foreseeable future. The popularity of bitcoin is based primarily on its complete decentralization, which is not present in Ethereum, much less Ripple, which can be called cryptocurrency with great stretch. In Bitcoin, it is impossible to cancel transactions or whole blocks, as it was done in Ethereum. This is its main advantage, which is so appreciated by large investors.

That's much better let the rivalry continue in order to take place behind bitcoin, there's no significance that bitcoin can be replaced by this two projects, as bitcoin still strong from the competitions being adopted and acknowledge by more investors and traders, maybe there's instances that this two coins will exceed each other but not bitcoin in terms of value, bitcoin being the first will continue holding its position.

No, because they serve different purposes. If a coin reaches number one in cap, it doesn't mean that it becomes the best coin for all purposes. If XRP becomes number one, it won't suddenly be a better choice than ETH for smart contracts.

well, we know that bitcoin is now far above ETH or XRP, I don't feel the slightest bitcoin will be replaced by both of these coins for now, or even later. it can be said that bitcoin is the heart of crypto.
