Agree with what you say. that in the current situation it is difficult to determine whether it is time to buy for investment. because we know that altcoin is currently in a bad state. so it's better to analyze first to determine what we are going to do.

I would be very careful with picking alts right now. If the Bitcoin dominance stays on this level or even rises more, a lot of projects will eventually die and their tokens will become worthless. You don't want to become a bagholder of dead coins. So any coin out of the top 100 (maybe top 50?) should be checked very throughly to see if the projects team is still active and didn't ran out of money

Picking some dip price or alts maybe we should need to be careful cause some altcoins are now are not back into a high price. Must better to choose to those altcoins that are listed already in the better exchange like binance or kucoin. Actually there are lot of altcoins that we can choose to buy and holding it for a long time.

Do not think about purchasing altcoins at present as the altcoin market is down and it continues for some time more. You can wait for a month to buy altcoins. I do not think that the situation will change very much in a month. If altcoins are still not at the very bottom, then in any case, the price still remains very attractive and promising. So if you have plans to buy - you need to buy. In case of growth, you will get a fairly good profit.

Talking about good altcoin to buy I highly recommend to buy ethereum where you can buy dip right now because it is also down. But, buying altcoin will still depend on the investors who will buy it but always think that you need to buy altcoin that has promising future.

I see a rapid growth on Lisk. Finding a major security issue and having it merged into core. Developing training tools, opening public APIs, snapshots, funding of various delegate tools such as Lemiis Dynamic Forging Controller, and the release of Moracle, which will be one of the first Sidechains to be launched on Lisk. I expect a increasing on price. Buy before it's too late to realizing the true value of this coin. When dumping will ended and Bitcoin will on the rise again, soon the rest of the market will follow especially Lisk.

I bought dent because I think that it will rise very much in the Altparty period. Dent's circulating supply is 74.925.838.994 and total supply is 100.000.000.000  . Also, dent's market cap is $27.470.059 right now! I think it will be the shining star of the bull era. of course this is not an investment advice.

Stellar (XLM) could be a good addition to the portfolio right now.

They have decided on removal of inflation by making a change in version 12 of stellar core. They added an inflation mechanism because of the community payout. But that didn't succeed. So they are removing it which can take the price up in short as well as long run. It is a good hodl as of now.

When the cryptocurrency market is not bullish it is hard to pick the profitable altcoin. you can only pick the most reputable altcoins.
For me, I only pick the following altcoins which are as follows: BAT, Enjin, Pundi X, Ren, and Lambda.

Looking at the development of altcoin now, honestly I still doubt whether altcoin will experience a significant increase again in the future, but if I have to choose to invest in altcoin, of course I will choose eth and also bnb as my investment asset, regardless of these two altcoins, I prefer to save my money in the current form of bitcoin because it has more potential to provide benefits in long-term investment.
