I still see some ico who commit fraud and abandon investors, just look at Sprintx, get $ 15M during pre-ico, they then stop selling and shut down their sites and various social media platforms
There are so many ICO scam like that. They get a huge amount of money from the ICO, and they completely disappear in a day. No one can trace them out because all the information is fake. So the ICO is now hard to get trust from investors

In my opinion, I think most ICO fail because they are not really ready before they launch their coins. Most of them don't have a good working prototype or product. This shows they are steps behind

Most of the ICOs are not intended to be run for a long time from the beginning, most of their team will flee from the project when they have earned enough money. That's why ICOs give many investors a bad impression, making them refrain from investing in them. Eventually, it makes ICOs very difficult to succeed.

There are many reasons for the ICO to fail. Since the idea is not feasible, it does not develop in reality. Have a good idea, a technology solution, a talented and dedicated team, an experienced and reliable mentoring team, etc. Absence of any element of the ICO will fail.

A lot of IcO has no meaning and IcO has no specific purpose. That way people will not be interested in investing in icO and most of icO fail because they are not good at promotion.

I think greed is one of the teams that leads to theft. In addition, I think that the lack of constant updating and the inability to do what was promised in their roadmap can cause fluctuations in investors.

Only a few of them do this and we see many bad results from some ICO projects.

There is a lot of reason why the ICO's fail maybe the they did not reach their softcap and hardcap or they maybe lack of investors and buyers of their ICO tokens. Also there is a chance that the developers run away and scam all the investors and it was the cause of the ICO fail, we will never know it that one ICO will be successful if that happen and for me me that is the reason why the ICO fail.

Sometimes, there is a good idea, and even a very nice team, but they are just too greedy, or just not smart enough, and make a horrible token metric. The amounts they intend to raise lately are just not logical in many cases. and sometimes they only sell a very little part of the tokens, which can also be a problem for the investors.

An awful lot of ICO failed because I think for now it appears that many of the new projects. So if they issue the ICO with very low quality will certainly compete with the others. And we can see that a lot of investors that invest solely on the ICO who have great potential. And if they are not able to compete could certainly fail in running project ICO.

It is the presence of bots, social networking accounts, where advertising, 50-100 tweets / retweets, the day Poland is not one project will bring.

Because investors never focus on developing their projects they just want to get money from the investors, they set up ghost projects so they fool many people so they have sold moral virtues.

There are so many reasons why ICO fails. Like lacking of private or public investors who wants to buy their tokens and help them for their success, the management team is not knowledgeable enough to run out the whole project and they don't have their own creativity that can help them being unique from the other ICOs.

I think because the team is less qualified, the market strategy is wrong, innovation is the same as other coins, and the most important is the use of the coin for the public.

transperancy is my priority. lots of ico teams did not make their payment systems with transparency. i think investors have rights to view total amount of investments. i think public ico created via smart contracts are transparent and very trustfull.

There are many ICOs out there, but more than 50% of them fail. From my analogy, could this be the reasons why ICOs fail? 1. Being too complicated: If you want investors to favour your ICO, make sure they understand your coin offering. Be concise yet interesting, creative yet not too ‘techy’ and try to explain concepts from scratch. Of course, the detail you go into is likely to depend on your target audience. 2. No unique Use case and lack of creativity: The reality is, ICOs are not straightforward and with new ideas and concepts arising daily, you need to get noticed and that means coming up with some unique Use case So, before a developer even attempts to launch an ICO or enter the crypto world, ask yourself: "What will make investors choose this particular ICO over a competitor’s ICO?" I believe the list continues.
it is a truth that so many of icos are scam. that is why nowadays investors try to find exact things to invest in an ico. if the team is not known, documentations are not good prepared and hype is not good enough it is quite normal for ico to fail.

Excessive hype and unrealistic white papers are the reasons for many ICO failures. They simply can't fulfill their promises in the white paper, and the price in the market is tumbling. These have disappointed investors, and now people are increasingly reluctant to invest in ico.

One of the reasons why ICORS failed is the breaking of investor confidence. Because people who cheat investors with misinformation and lies lament people.

ICO failed because they did not have a great team in doing promotion. And many investors are currently unwilling to invest because of the project team ICO, which belonged to inactive. So they consider that the project does not have a strong team to develop the project.
