Because most of the ICO project is more like a hype, they didn't have any meaning, from their white paper can determine that they are unlikely to succeed, so I think now is not a good time to an investment ICO.
Who says it? you are just speculating I think, actually many ICO projects are interesting and nice .. if you are interested to invest in ICO ,, I think you should do a review of ICO that you want to invest ,, because sebearnya very profitable if ICO that we invest great success

ICOs are failing because most of the are scams,or has low quality project vision or the team doesnt have any good reputation advisors and developers are one factor to consider which people are searching for because good project wont achieve success without professional people around i aint personally going to invest to something that has redflags.

Theres a lot of factor for me,the team should be legit, real people and using their own identity, the product/services should be working already the vision should be also great, whitepaper should be written very well ,roadma should be cleared too advisors should be professional too so that the ICO wont have any redflags.

One reason is the lack of marketing.  I have saw a number of ICOs which are very good the concept of them are also very easy and the project are of good potential but they do not have any effective marketing campaigns for their project so people do not know about them and because of that they do not get much traffic. Some often think that they have advertised on some places but they forget some other places to advertise there.

Also some ICO owners is not really knowledgeable in how crypto works or how to handle cryptos. They have good, real business with good  use case but the pressure in crypto community like exchanges and everything they cannot handle. I have seen a few ICO that cannot handle those pressure.

ICO fail because of there lack of consistency to the roadmap and in ability to determine the accurate  amount of fund, required for implementation of project.

Because people today are more picky compare to the previous years which people are careless not doing research etc.,people are more vigillant and alert with these ICOs especially our community is aware with these lots of scams ,one redflag is enough reason not to invest that is why most of these scam ICOs are failing !

I think that many ICO projects are fraud, and there is another part of the projects in which the creators overestimated their strength.

Main reason would be most of these ICOs are just created to raise funds and eventually run away when they have raised enough money from noob investors but people today are more aware what these ICOS are doing that is why most people have raised their standards in picking ICOs that is why mosdt of the ICOs today are failing because they might see some redflags.

I like to join the Telegram to write to the people that are in the coin to get more information on it. Bitcoin does not have a super popular Telegram so that is the only one that is hard to research in real time.

Well the reason why some ICOs fails are lack of advertising. since advertising makes a company's product popular on people it's the same thing when it comes to ICOs the more often ICO advertised the more people will likely to invest to your ICO and also, this could contribute to the reason why ICOs fail is people are hesitated to invest on ICO fearing to scammed and lose money.

You have forgotten the most important bit which is marketing and advertising. the main aim of the ICO is raising money and once you fail to advertise well and convince investors then you ICO will definitely fail

Of course the majority of incompetence person is trying to create ico just to grab money. Look at the majority of fail project which has not gained a lot of attention from the investors nor traders. They are all failed caused by the developer itself.

Statistics show that more than 60% of ICOs have failed after launch. This explains that there are so many ICOs available each day, but there are very few large potential ICOs, most of them just ICOs with similar goals, and they try to exaggerate their projects to attract more people to make the profit. I think that in 2019 ICOs should be managed to prevent fraudulent ICOs as well as void ICOs in the cryptocurrency market.

I think one of the main reason why ICO failed is because of few interest in the marketplace. I recently joined ICO and where not able to reached the soft cap. One major reason they state is because of the volatility of the market wherein ETH falls really low and the market acceptance was low as well. Mostly probably their should be a twik in the process since the project is very promising.

I do not think that 50% of failed ICOs is too much. In any business, percentage of loss-making campaigns is high. If we take the sphere of startups, only one project out of ten survives there. So, it is not so bad in the field of ICO as it is given in media
I agree with you! This situation the same for all new business.

Reasons why Ico's fail? coz some of them are Theoretical thinking. I think they should have working products before it goes live. They should have advertise more on social media to gain popularity and sell their best catalys.

Several reasons that can make an ICO fail include some of the following;
1. Not having a clear whitepaper which explain the project concept in a simple language. Many ICOs whitepapers are full of marketing lingos. So investors could not understand what the project is all about.
2. No strong team to back the project; any project without a strong backer will likely fail.
3, The wrong governance structure of the project ICO can make an ICO to fail; whether centralized or decentralized. Most investors prefer a decentralized structure to a centralized structure because with a decentralized structure they are sure of total freedom from manipulation.

What will make investors choose this particular ICO over a competitor’s ICO? - I think team. Team, advisors, media persons - may be commercial. If ico bad, but people of project are strong and have a lot of experiance - project grow up!
