An altcoin may survive only for a single reason. "If it is used by the consumers." With a coin circulating based on actual product consumption or the acceptance of a related service then such coin will survive with the possibility of earning better from it. Coins that do not actually have a good purpose will be lost like nothing had happened. Usage is very important and the teams working on it developing versions or upgrades also adds to its lifespan. Otherwise such failure won't allow it to survive long enough.

I think most will die, so many coins are such obvious scams, with websites built by 16 year olds, then they "rebrand" once they have money to hire competent devs...

If people continue supporting a coin there's no way it can be removed in the crypto market, so that's why the major coins in the market have more chance of surviving these problems we are facing right now and be part of the future payment system. So be smart when choosing a coin because a one bad move can lead to a big loss while having a smart decision will lead you to a success in life.

It is true not all crypto will survive. only the best crypto only and who has the best quality which indeed deserves to survive. plus the more recent crypto with new innovations that will certainly increase competition in crypto became more exciting. in the future certainly has flattering technology that Crypto can survive.

Just like in business,  it is not every business that survive the very first year.  ICO is likely to behave similarly. Many coin and ICO may not survive their very first year but those that do may go on to become bigger and successful.

It is true that a lot of coins wouldn't survive in a few years time, only a few well-established altcoins would survive in future. So, keep that in mind while investing in altcoins.

I think that 95% of crypto coins and tokens won't survive and the reason is that a crypto coin in order to survive and get value it has to be accepted as a way of payment for purchase goods or services.
Very few coins will manage to do it at the end of the day and of course these coins will get enormous value.
The only thing you have to do is to find out which coins will enter the market of real currencies.

No, I do not think that can happen. The majority of crypto currencies have no potential to develop and do more. I personally believe that there will be left a very small part of the current market.

In fact, no more than 50 percent of all the coins that are now on the cryptocurrency market will die. It is not necessary to use coins or tokens as payment.

I agree with you, if people trade a coin only to make profit then it will probably die in the long term, most ico coins also will die because when they spend all the money, if project does not generate profit, it will die.

I highly doubt this. There will always be something better to be created in future which will replace the old. I also expect that in a good few years there might just be one multi purpose currency with a lot of utility being utililised worldwide to make things simpler. I personally hope this won't happen but I suspect that it eventually will

I think we have more than 1000 coins in the market in that only 10 - 20% coins will survive for the long time remaining will disappear once that project people make money. Nowadays only scam projects are entering to the market the ICO's will reach hard cap but the tokens will not list in any exchanges. The competition is increased but day by day crypto market losing investors because of scam ICO's.

I think that in time, only the best coins will survive, which will have a quality ready-made product that companies can provide to the world. And I hope that all fraudulent projects will gradually disappear.

In my opinion, not all crypto currency coins can survive in the market. I do not think up to 10% of all crypto currency coins that can survive in the market. For certain crypto currency coins can survive in the market but not for the long term. This is because a lot of crypto currency coins are just as duplicates of the previous crypto currency coins. The creators of these crypto currency coins consider less technological innovation. They just follow the trend to create crypto currency coins because they want to get big profits. Therefore, the marketing and promotion teams of the coins are urgently needed.

No, every crypto will not survive.many will die off, the strong will continue. Over the years I have seen many coin die off, many coin currently on exchanges are dead. I have seen exchanges remove many coin from.their exchange. Still many new coins will go also just a matter of time

Absolutely not- too many shitcoins with no real purpose other than to make a buck/scam, let alone any concept or potential use.  Every day there are coin/token extinction events; however, some other shitcoins arise from the toilet to take their places.

As valuations achieve new highs, the disposition in cryptocurrency markets is progressively being contrasted with the fever for dotcom organizations when the new century rolled over. But identifying survivors in the cryptocurrency markets is easier said than done. The world of cryptocurrencies and blockchains may be nascent but its roots lie in established industries.

I think just 70% of coins and altcoins will have sense after even one year! Too much projects wants to have their own token and platform
