Jack Dorsey, chief executive of Twitter and payment company Square, has just spoken of his strong belief in the future potential of bitcoin.
In an interview with The Times published Wednesday, Dorsey, himself a noted bitcoin investor, said he believes the cryptocurrency will take over the U.S. dollar's dominant place in world finance and become the primary global currency for payments.

Thanks for sharing that, but isn't it interesting how much good information and how many people are bullish about Bitcoin right after the correction? Seems a bit odd for timing if you ask me, or maybe it was planned. Oh well I will play your little game whales, but I see what you are doing...I think .

There are many, many things in this world that if you approached with fresh eyes you'd wonder how they ever won out. And if you were tasked with inventing them from scratch you most certainly wouldn't end up with many of the things we have.

The monetary system is certainly one of them. If I was an alien occupier I'd choose Bitcoin or something very similar to get my new economy going.

Sadly we don't have fresh slates so this is a dead silly assertion.

What does a correction have to do with his opinion? He must've had a similar one for a long time if he invested in it and wasn't trying to hide this investment.
We can't be certain that the correction is over, that's for one. If it is we're certainly going to go up, regardless of the opinion of some wealthy and powerful. Warren Buffett was spewing hate in 2017 and we had a great year. BTC doesn't care!

Every individual has their own opinion and point of views whether he or she is a prominent person or not, but of course, a prominent personality's opinion and words are given distinctions and will have an impact regarding the subject he is tackling with, on this matter, we could not argue since the Bitcoin is already proven and it is growing since it's inception wayback 2009.

It's a bit of an exaggeration to say that bitcoin will take the place of the dollar, I think that bitcoin will be a currency that will be used globally and that will be something normal for most people but I don't think it will take the place of the traditional fiat currencies.

bitcoin will never become a global currency, in terms of beeing monopolistic there will be always people opposing it.

bitcoin cash and all other clones will also not be a global currency.

Of course this is possible and I suspect even probable now....it may be one of the primary global currencies. I suspect there could be a few primary , secondary and other crypto. I don't see anything taking btc crown in the next few years though for real. You can get these fake cap ICO's that can look huge but in reality are not comparable.

although there is an issue that tweeters will ban crypto ads, but I think it is fake news that wants to destroy the crypto world.

That's a bold statement from someone like him. I agree with him to some extent, although taking over the US Dollars completely would be unlikely in the near future. I just can't think of a scenario of it. It would require a huge global economic crisis or something.
