Twitter CEO Says Bitcoin Will Be Worlds Single Leading Currency. The CEO of twitter Jack Dorsey has said that that the Bitcoin will be the worlds single currency. In the wednesday interview of times with Jack Dorsey he himself noted as a bitcoin investor and said that ” I believe that cryptocurrency will take over the US dollars and becomes the primary global currency for payments within the time of 10 years or less”. He personally reviewed that the world and internet will have a single currency and that will be Bitcoin.

While the price of bitcoin is going on slowly and costly the twitter CEO has argued that new solution will ease the difficulty in the end. Jack Dorsey also said that ” The more and more people have it, Those things go away there are new technologies for the blockchain to make it approachable for everyone”. Jack Dorsey is putting his money on the Bitcoin where his words can bring the Bitcoin transactions to faster and cheaper.

Bitcoin is already the worlds leading Crypto currency. I disagree with him that Bitcoin would replace Fiat currencies, because the world is not ready for that and neither Bitcoin scaling at the moment. These governments will rather create their own GovCoins where they have full control over the currency, before they allow Bitcoin to replace their Fiat currencies.

We have already seen this in places like Denmark, where they want to move to a cashless society.

In 10 years? That's an audacious statement. We do not even know if the community can still altruistically run Bitcoin nodes, as the blockchain's size reaches a point that it would be too expensive to run one.

Yes, i agree with the Twitter CEO and his statement that bitcoin will be leading world's currency and it will be ruling all over the internet as every people around the world will be having in their wallet. I agree with him because even i am personally invested in then bitcoin and there are many pro traders who are holding it for long-term and we all believe that it is the one coin which has longer value and potential in the coming years and even i am expecting it to be the king all over the world.

Or if by some technological miracle a solution to the ever growing size of the blockchain is solved. I believe Bitcoin's blockchain would be over 5 - 10 terrabytes large in 10 years, also having taken account the growth in users.

As said, storage will not be the problem but bandwidth might be.

Powerful and visionary seeing potential in bitcoins is a good proof of that fact that bitcoins are not bubble. I have heard only positive opinions from all successful people bitcoins except Warren Buffet. Warren Buffet is investing in stocks and thus him supporting bitcoins will be quite contradictory.

I hope we hear more such positive news about bitcoins as it really helps to combat the FUD being spread regarding crypto. It also brushes off the rumor regarding Twitter going to ban crypto related ads.

Yeah but I don't like what Twitter is doing for other digital currency business, by not allowing blockchain companies to advertise for their ICOS. It's kind of ironic unless TWITTER is very PRO BITCOIN and anti-everything else. I like the idea of Bitcoin to gain a large market cap as that will positively affect the crypto market in general but big companies like Twitter aren't making it easy for those in this space. I hope that one day Twitter acts more positively to the blockchain sphere unless the U.S is clamping down on anyone advertising crypto projects, like a bully lol.

this will certainly add up to so many achievements of bitcoin, though he is quite late, bitcoin is already the leading coin in the digital world, even from the start, bitcoin is on top of market shares, but this news will surely help boost the morale of this platform, since twitter is partly engaged in bitcoin due to twitter campaigns that pay bitcoin, twitter also benefited from  bitcoin because of the campaigns that are running at present.

His views aren't that far fetched, we're moving in to a more global world where in 10 years time the need for international currency movement will be much much greater than it is today, just look where we were 10 years ago, A LOT has changed in that time.

If borders keep opening up more, competition will create a scenario where bitcoin becomes adopted locally to cater for people coming from outside, still a long way from reality but it's not that bad of a view, people are always looking at the now when trying to determine the future, imagine the idea of having computers in our pockets using wireless internet 20 years ago.

We cannot say yet that bitcoin will be the leading crypto currency in the years to come. Why do I say this? because there are plenty of good coins that offer better technology than what bitcoin has. Think of it like Apple, it was the starting way for all the smart phones until android came into play. I dont know when the day would come that bitcoin would be over thrown in the top but probably it will come.

This all sounds too optimistic. Regulators can prohibit its use and threaten with a prison term, then bitcoin will return to the price of 100 bucks and already no one will be ineteresen. He has such a course, only because regulators look at him positively and he does not interfere with the world financial system, but imagine if he becomes a threat?

The world’s single currency in a 10 year time frame from now? Yeah that’s not going to happen. What could realistically happen within 10 years is bitcoin being implemented into mainstream payment methods for huge companies like Amazon, Ebay etc, that alone could see the proce comfortably reach $100,000 per bitcoin.

I’d be more than happy enough to see that kind of progress.

Bitcoin can be one of the leading accepted cryptocurrency in the future instead of using Fiat money but I don't think Bitcoin is the only cryptocurrency can be replaced with Fiat.
