Among the circulating coins, I believe Ethereum and NEO and it's GAS are likely to have a rapid rise. Gladius Token can be a good investment at current time as they are going public soon and the price is really low while the technology is very useful.

in the year 2018 I think the top altcoin for the pick is ASTR, because I think ASTR will increase very high price at the end of 2018 later, so I chose ASTR.

I would go with the private cryptocurrencies as they are planned to go up this year, as regulators enter the market and people will search for ways to be anonymous.

On the other hand, cryptocurrencies investment have always been really danagerous and you should take extreme caution while investing.

I choose ETH and  NEO to hold, especial NEO. Two platform cryptocurrencies with many ICOs based on that. And you can hold NEO on Binance or Neon wallet to receive GAS, i think this time price is really cheaper so you can hold to end of this year.

in 2018 like any other year, the same 1700-200 altcoins will have the same potential to get the same pumps as they always get. based on your luck some of them will have bigger pumps than others and you just have to see the signs for the pump, find them and jump on board before it is too late and also make sure to jump out before it is too late too.
i can give you a bunch of names like others did but they are the picks of now and by the time you read them i have probably moved on to another set of coins because they are getting pumped by then.

I recommend POWR, Humaniq, Music, Siacoin, Civic, Meme, also NEO ETH and Bitcoin.

Look at the highest prices of these coins in January and compare them now.
Musicoin will be held hardfork later this month, that's good news and hopefully, Music will pump.

And see also POWR, one of the most successful ico and in January ago had touched the price of 11k Satoshi, and now only 4k. it is very cheap.
But it's up to you, invest in a coin that you think is nice and familiar to you. And another one, do not invest your money in one coin, put it on 2-5 coins. That's better and minimize big losses.

I think that after these terrible weeks of red market there will be a huge price boom. At this point, almost all the altcoins are a very good investment, in my opinion.
