A downfall is available at the Altcoin market, recently. We can't deny this situation. When the market is examined, many Altcoins are BTC and ETH based. The downfall at these affect the Altcoins' values. But, some Altconis like EOS, shows counter-effect according to BTC and ETH.

EOS is for me a big pump. There is no working product in place yet. In Addition in its  concept it has some real fear. Fact is, that it is still a ERC token and has still not its own block chain.

Have to agree with you here. I have analyzed that currency and I found nothing to justify its huge market cap of $15 billion and trade volume of $1.5 billion per day. The trade-volume to market cap ratio is suspect as well. It is quite high and I guess that a lot many of the promoters are dumping their coins.

For good sake I don't know what people thinks for saying that altcoins are dying? While we all see that majority of potential altcoins are having a great volume but they are it rough day since the bitcoins price go fall badly these days. But as soon as the bitcoins price recover provably those past ATH will be reach out again by some altcoins(unless those coins are not scam coins) .

The altcoin aint dying, this kind of investment is for a long run investment you can make a big money in it on a future time. The only thing is dying  are those people afraid of dying.

Do not try to focus only on bitcoin as a means of investing. bitcoin can not ensure the interests of all companies, so altcoins in this regard are much more promising, the price is lower, accordingly they are more affordable.

Altcoins are certainly not dieing, in fact we are still in a very early phase of adoption. The mistake many people make in cryptocurrency/blockchain is that they are in it for quick profit, however if you look around in traditional stock markets you see there is no 'quick money' in general. Blockchain is a very fast moving space/industry, and like I said it's just starting and many ICOs that have raised money are currently working very hard on their roadmap with products/services launching in 2018-2019-2020. Meaning we have yet to see a lot and currently it is time to stack before the price will actually rise when adoption is there.

In my opinion, Do not worry, just wait. If you are sure that you can buy cheaper then sell but always buy cheaper, because if you want to really get out of the market then it is not the best choice. And do not panic and maybe you can get some cheap Alts if you have some money shareable cash.

I think altcoins like bitcoin will never die. Soon the attitude towards altcoins will change and people will consider them as a digital analogue of securities. Therefore, the demand for altcoins will grow.

actually, altcoin is following bitcoin move. when bitcoin increase, some of the altcoin down and the other increase and it will change too if bitcoin is decreased. we are seeing many altcoin increases although bitcoin increase so we can get double profit from bitcoin and altcoin. but sometimes, if bitcoin go to deep price, the altcoin gets fallen too and even reach a very low price. but I don't think that the altcoin is dying now because the altcoin still exists and still trying to increase and survive.

In my personal experience with altcoins so far, though not yet fully experienced, the best time to buy is whne they fully in red and when in seems like nothing with help to recover them, thats the time to buy. Wait for the dip and buy, our mistake is we tend to be greedy and wait to see some gain and we get tempted to buy when they are in green but you will get little or no profit through that, more so you will lose out. Study the trend of the alts you are interested in, understand the the graph for a reasonable period, chances are that there will be a trend that will be followed over a period and that will give you some clue as when to jump into the ship and when to cash out before you get burnt.
