That was enormous profit, as I could see, whenever you gain almost 200 percent value in just overnight, the most positive ways was to sell. most specially for alt coin/token where movement was very drastic. However, not in all alts may apply this ways. Still, there are many alts that worth to HODL.

200% is so crazy we will get many benefits. if I experience something like that then I will sell some tokens I have for my capital to be back and some will wait until they reach a high price maybe 500% or even drop back 40% .. just always see the market within 24 hours Grin

Do you continue hodling or sell? A lot of people say to hold no matter what happens and I'm not advocating daytrading but I think in a situation like this, it'd be advantageous to sell.

Thoughts? What would you do?

I will probably sell it immediately since the market today is growing very quick, all i need to do is exchange it for bitcoins and wait till the price rise to $50k dollar before selling all my coins.

I think I will choose to sell. Even if I really look particularly optimistic about it. But I'm afraid to take risks. I will sell it and buy it when its price falls.

This needs to distinguish the situation. If it is a 200% increase after a plunging, I think I will not sell my currency. If it is a stable increase of 200%, I think I will sell half the currency.

If the coins that I have can directly increase many times, of course, I will immediately sell it. Because of course I already get a big profit and I do not want if I hold the price even down the coin again. So as soon as possible I will immediately sell it. My principle, if I already get a profit many times over the capital I spend I will soon sell it.

Most probably I will sell it because sometime aggressively rising coins drops hard too. I agree long-term trading would be a good choice. If it's a bounty coin. I would hold if it is airdrop coin then I will definitely sell it because it can be a fake pump too. Good coins rise gradually. Ultimately it depends on coins. Daily market rise and drop several times it gives chance most of the time.

Its will be happiest moment for me, every investor want to sell his coin with great profit. First I analyses the market what say other investor. If I see Its quite positive than I think to sell according to my quantity. If I see its quite negative and has the possibility to increase more than I hold. In another way if the possibility to decrease overnight than also think to sell though it is good or bad for me. Because Greed is the path of danger so I don’t try to mistake.

If I have enough coin I must sell some portion obviously, No one want to wait more so I also don’t want to wait. We know it’s a volatile market and there has no possibility, No one know what will happened next so its will be wise able to sell something.   Grin Grin Grin

I would certainly have recorded my profits. the money I originally invested in cryptocurrency and what is the percentage of profit. for the rest of the money, I'll keep trading. the main thing is to have time to fix the profit.

I have high hopes on cryptocurrency so my original plan is to hold for at least 2 years. I consider myself a long term investor so I would continue to hold

Everything is very subjective, depends on the project and on expectations of it.If you are satisfied, sell, I usually sell all parts in a certain percentage.

I will take some profit and invest it in other coin cause pumps like that are more than sometimes for a short time and taking some profit will be a nice idea than.

I would analyze the market if the forecasts are optimistic, maybe a little longer would wait, but most likely I would sell it and wait for another drop to buy again.

First thing i will be very happy!!! My portfolio has double or even more, then follow by i will think of a strategy maybe cash out 30-40% comparing to my capital investment. Then use the cash out capital to look for a more promising altcoin to invest.

It depends on the market situation. If the market continues to be bullish, I suggest you not to sell your crypto currency for the time being. Because the market is still up. You can wait until the end of the bull market to sell.

Most of day traders do that sell if they know that they have profit and then they wait again to the dip and buy back. For me that is a good IDEA and not to become greedy. My strategy is sell the half and the reaming still hodl. I always make sure that my capital back to me and the remaining token hodl for long term.

If the price of a coin increased by 3-4 times, I would probably have sold some of the coins so as not to risk losing everything.

I think I will hold the coins for a while to see if they will go up on and on. If not, I will sell them immediately.

Most likely, I would sell all or part of these coins.  If the coin gave 200% overnight, then I would sell all the coins.  And then I would place an order for the purchase of these coins at a lower price.

since I'm not a trader, I would just wait until it grows to 10,000% then you can sell, and 40-200% in my opinion it's very small

What I am doing is I always took profit at 10% minimum gain. If it the chart says its still an uptrend, I will wait. From my past experiences, being too much greedy might lead you losing your gains.
