If your coin increased 40% - 200% in value over night. What would you do?

Do you continue hodling or sell? A lot of people say to hold no matter what happens and I'm not advocating daytrading but I think in a situation like this, it'd be advantageous to sell.

Thoughts? What would you do?

If I have that kind of increase in my investment, I would sell my coins. I am a hodler but its hard to pass up on that kind of opportunity. I would take advantage of the situation and if the prices continues to increase I would buy and trade again to get a maximum gain on the situation.

It depends. I always to see many factors before starting to invest in again. If I already got a 40% profit, I usually convert it (save it) to FIAT currency. Because we never know when is the market will be crashed.

Well, if I'm 100% sure of the coin, I'll hold it. Although it is difficult when you see such a huge growth. But now it is difficult to find such a coin. So in most cases, I would sell in such a situation.

I would definitely sell right after I am sure that I would get 200 percent profits, I mean, it is that rare of a situation but 200 percent is a great investment, it would depend on how much time I have the coin.

No need to ever be greedy it leads more to the loss of money than to the acquisition. My life was only 1 time that the coin has risen so much, the growth was 95-110% and I sold it and then started trading and lost everything ! I was very strictly taught that we should rejoice in the fact that there is not to indulge in greed !

I consider my portfolio exclusively as an investment for a few years ahead, so I do not follow the charts, but I'm considering technology and news that can globally influence the market in order to be aware of the situation. Plus I do not have the time to keep track of the graphics, so usually, I do not touch my altcoins even if they had such a big growth!

If there is a price increase of 40% -200% overnight then I will sell some of the coins that I have, I will still hold some of the others in the wallet.
Market conditions are weakening at this time, a slight increase will be useful for crypto holders, giving a positive spirit to contribute and make the market recover again.

I would sell the larger part near 60% and I would control the situation on the another part. From my point of view it is the best way of doing in this case.

I think it depends on the coin. But 100%-200% is too big opportunity for me to let it slide by. I have seen so much coins rising that high only to drop and stayed down for years. If it happens to me, definitely sell my coins and wait if it falls again

The profit is nice enough for the investment to have a price lower than what the rate of the cash out was.

When I see 200%. I will just offload some tokens should the project be a strong project. Otherwise, If the project has been a torn on my flesh, I will just sell off and move on. Like STQ has never given me my desire joy since buying the ICO.

Would sell it immediately. This pump will not be long. If the price has grown so much in such a short period of time, it means that in the near future the price will decline.

If my coin has an increase of about 40 - 200 percent, I think I'm still going to hodl the coins regardless. Call it greed or whatever, but I did not invest in this business for just a two hundred percent increase. I will wait patiently for when it has had a percentage that is suitable with me before I sell off, and gather my profits.
