Selling bitcoin is not a stupid decision if there has a acceptable reason of course. Yes, drops is temporary and it will go back to its high value you just need to wait. And if btc user decides to sell his bitcoin not because the value drops but because he really needs it, then that is a good decision. He sacrifice a possible amount to get what he need now. That will be only stupid if they just sell it without reason.

Thats why you should never invest money into crypto (or stocks for that matter) that you need. You can see it on the stock market every day that people sell with a loss, because they need the money RIGHT NOW. And this is a tipical error for people who are not thinking ahead (unless they need the money due to unforseen circumstances of course). But in general one needs money for the daily expenses (rent, food, gas,....) for the not so daily expenses (holidays, washing machine,...) and for ones retirement (savings). And when there is still some money left one does not throw out the window for useless crap, then, and only then, this money should be invsted in crypto or other high risk assets IMHO.

Correct! selling bitcoin now is very bad decision because the value of it nowadays is too low. Before the value of bitcoin is more than 7,000 USD but now in short perion of time the value of bitcoin fall to almost 6,500 USD. Meaning, if you buy in the price of 7,000 USD and now you panic and sell it you lose a lot of money. Panic is not good today instead patience will diff.

Well, if we fall into panic and buy high then sell low bitcoin, that would really be a stupid decision because the value of bitcoin is always more likely to exceed the price we buy, sell based on feelings of panic, it is never a good idea, we just become farce for professional investors. Well, it won't always be a bad decision especially if an individual has his own reason of doing such thing. They might be really in need of money which forced them to do so. But if they are not,and they just sold due to panic, well that I think is a bad decision because we should all be awared that dumps are not permanent,and that recovery will eventually happen. Just keep in mind that whenever the market value is falling, holding is the best thing to do.

When regulations and taxation laws are stable and in place things will look brighter for crypto again because the investors will come back.

Selling bitcoin all of a sudden very risky thing that you need to observed very carefully. Because if you buy bitcoin while price drops I am sure that your money was risked. Not at all because if you will sell it to gain a very big income means a smart decision. Imagine someone buying bitcoin at a very low price and then sells it at a high price and then buys again at lower price and sell again at higher price. It's going on a repeat, on and on. Some may have the power to use the volatility of price and to make profit. On the other hand some may wants to make a investment for a larger period of time to make a big profit.
