Don't take gambling too seriously, we should know that it was really for fun. Applying psychology will be needed to control ourselves, consequences will depends on the decisions we do before and after we play gambling. Learn to manage your money and time ,it might not have too much consequences.

 I agree that people are not the same.  But if you make gambling as source of income, you need a lot of knowledge about situation adjustment.  Meaning you should have full control of yourself and be able to quit anytime if the situation does not favor you or, when you are winning so that you can book the profit. But most probably if you do that and does not really know how to control yourself nor adjust with the situation, you will end up broke.

No matter they know it or not, those are still consequences but knowing the consequences of everything you are going to do is better than just do it blindly. By knowing it first, then people are ready to take any results that may happen and know how to deal with the result they get.
Even if we are doing it for fun only, there is still possible consequences that may come. One of them is getting addicted because of the fun and our bad self-control.

I suspect gambling could have positive effects. It could help people manage money better and not give in to impulsive tendencies. There isn't a significant difference between gambling and investing. There is a degree of risk inherent in everything which can't be eliminated. The best we might hope for is to learn to mitigate that risk and that could take practice, which gambling could provide.

I like how gambling allows a person to validate their beliefs in terms of what the end outcome of something will be. That type of self discovery and challenging of one's own preconceptions can be a learning experience. Learning how to cope with defeat and losing also can be a plus in terms of gaining maturity and learning to be level headed and not allow emotions or greed to cloud owns judgement.

All of the above are my aspirations as far as gambling goes. And of course, the intent to make money and profit matters as well.

Precisely, as well as you are not falling into an addiction gambling can be a great way to self-knowledge. Gambling had really bad social consequence on me i became completely silent for a week and didn't know what yo do i decided to gamble again but finally i was able to have control over myself and decided to quit gambling

With all due respect Sir, you should have not to generalize people at the middle class will mostly compromise their life due to gambling because gambling  doesn't choose about people status to be more affected, as we know that gambling's consequence brings addiction to mental disorder, failed relationship and job will be affected therefore it doesn't matter of where you came from, its either your rich or poor.
