Yes, it has.

It completely messed up my relationship to money. With enough retreat, I can rethink what I did, how I did it, if it was right or wrong ...
I am now learning how to save a little. And I'm amazed at how much I can save, and the forms my savings can take.
As much as I can hate banks, I have now first the first time of my life a savings account with a three figure sum for more than a month.

I still gamble from times to times, but it isn't the same kind of gambling.
Now, I'm gambling to play a game / chill out a bit / have fun.
Before, my gambling was destructive.

I think it's up to everyone. It's easier for some than for others. It may also not be the right time for some people.
Everything comes at the right time.

he doesn't have to lost everything if he can realize that he always has the opportunity to leave the gambling games and back to his family, his friends and promise to not come back to the gambling places. but unfortunately, there are not too many people that realize this and that person is only risk everything he has without knowing that for what he did, there will be consequences that he should face it later. and before it's too late, it is better to leave from the gambling places and don't use gambling as our source income.

Looks like you have learnt your lesson. As far as someone is playing for fun and that too by staying within limits, gambling is no harm or just a little loss of money. Yeah! There are a lot of consequences of playing gambling and you cannot afford any of them because if you will try to do so, it will completely destroy your whole life and you would be responsible for all that and no one else.
