I invested half of my  saving ($25,000)  into ETH when it was $725. ETH has now plunged to $459. I am very worried I will keep losing money and I fear for the worst.  I want to go kill myself   Huh
do not take decisions when the mind is in turmoil, suicide is forbidden and can indicate that you are a desperate person, stay optimistic and all you have to do now is hold because I believe in the future Ethereum will have a high price .

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Well... The other option is, wait til the end of the year or even til the Summer. You'll be blessed and love life again. You'll probably still double by the end of the year at least. The ETH team is always tying to innovate, solve problems, etc. Just delete the apps that tell you the price and check in a couple of months.

Don't panic like that. A large number of people bought ETH at a price that was 2 times higher than yours. And they don't shout that they want to die. Pull yourself together and calm down. You're not alone. We are all waiting for the moment when the fall will stop and the ETH rate will increase. I believe that soon we will be in a good mood for the profits.

What you have to critically examine is "What did you invest into? The tech or the hype?"
If it's the hype, well, it's going to return back to its hype again and you can cash out when it does. However, if it's the tech, then there's absolutely nothing you have to worry about

I agree with your point of view. Perhaps the author of this post was too pessimistic about his investment. I think everything will be fine if we have the patience and try to find solutions to the current problems.
If this fails, this will be a valuable lesson and he will remember this moment and will never repeat the mistake again.

one should not invest more than they can afford to lose. but its human tendency that we eventually end up investing more than we can afford to lose. I would advise you to just keep calm and if possible take a break for few weeks as this market is not going to remain same as it is now. we have been in the bear market for more than 3 months now so the bull run is very much due just hold your nerves and you will do well and eventually end up in profit.

you don't lose until you sell in a loss. just HODL

sit and do nothing for a few years. that's how most people who've made the most serious money made their serious money.

go ahead and panic sell if you want to. you'll get some money back out of it. eventually it'll head back up as everything does, though it could take a few years again. neither option is the end of the world.

Yes, you should have to learn accepting any misfortune that comes to your life since our life is full of ups and downs and all we have to do is to accept the truth because there things that come to us that beyond our control. Regarding of your financial problem the best thing to do is to hold and think positive for days come that your investment will be profitable again at the next rise of coins that you are holding, think that your not the only one having that dilemma.

Ethereum is a safe option, don't worry it will grow back up again. It is slow progress because a lot of ICOs are cashing out right now but rest assured that when the bulls are back ETH will rise. NEO would have been a better option, but eth is still good anyway

I think you should not be too worried. ETH will rebound in May. That's why people recommend holding them. Do not sell when the market is down. If you do not think suicide is a good investment, you should look for a job with a fixed monthly salary. You are weak.

I think that's a natural thing, Transactions in financial markets are done by buyers who hope that things will be better tomorrow with vendors who fear that tomorrow will not be as good today. Transactions between investors who hope to profit with investors who are afraid of loss.

No, please don't kill nobody, including yourself. This is saving as you said. You should be patient and wait for longer time. Don't lose your hope. You will recover from this. Don't sell at loss. Hold your ETH, it will go up again. Just trust me and wait a little more.

Even ETH miners cannot sustain themselves below 400 USD, 400ish prices look like a very strong base for Ethereum. You can confidently hold your ETH for long term.

If it dips any further, most miners would go out of operation and ETH would become so scarce that people will inevitably start buying it again, ETH has a lot of intrinsic value and unique use cases to go out of operation or be eclipsed by a competing cryptocurrency.

Good Luck

Just stay calm and be patient, don't kill yourself. It will definitely recover just wait for it. You should have known that this will happen when you first invested in our market. Investing in our market is risky and if you don't know what you're doing it will definitely give you losses. This will surely leave you a lesson and it help you in your future investment.

The current price drop is temporary. Just take a look at the entire crypto market, everything is down, not just ethereum. Don't worry about it and just forget about it for a few months. Ethereum is a solid project with a very active development team. I would not worry about it in the long term.

only fools dare to take off btc or eth now
Suicide is an unreasonable panic,
only people who have common sense want to hold bitcoins
and waiting for the recovery of the market in the crypto world,
my advice remains calm even though the price is now down
and I think you need a brain refresher to avoid panic by finding entertainment to reduce stress

to be honest,i am really surprising to see this kind of people actually.
why ? because before you started this game, did you even think about the consequences ?
it was cryptocurrency,
what i mean is,it was something different and it might be become our future or become our past.
many people love it and at the same time many people hate it because if it's successfully implemented in our real life.
a lot of people need to do the transition from our traditional financial style into a modern one,
and transition is the most difficult thing.
(we are out of our comfortable zone and moving to another zone.)

because of that we could see a heavy manipulation from people.
(profit seekers or haters).
in other words, the price can go up 100% in a single day and it can go down 100% in a single day too.
if you knew about it,you should know that it was a foolish action to put all of your money into it.
as a trader, the most important thing that we need to do is handling our financial.
we are not a gamble,do it or die with it.

be smart people.
(for now keep holding it is the best choice for you,win it or lose it!)

and suicide ? it's a foolish action.

Foods, shelter, and clothes are the basic needs that we human being needs to have in life even in a simple ways of foods the important is we have life. My point is no matter how much you own, no matter how much you lose the important is you don't lose your life. Life is more important than anything else. Without it everything is useless. Loses is not the indication of giving up but it is the language of determination to continue, inspiration to move on and it is also learnings to handle things properly in the future. Be strong! You can do it to regain what you had lose!
