i renamed the miner to pignminer.exe since i already have 2 miners in the same folder

I think you  are missing algo option. Try this:

C:\miner\pignminer.exe -a x16s -o stratum+tcp://blockcruncher.com:3636 -u P93vzRFhTfZVeD9EcdcAF76HeecxQ3xkNg

immediate upgrade recommended !!!
There was a leak of the miner and uncontrolled copying of the test version 1_05 with a bug inside 

To all users 1-05 and 1-04, please update miner to 1-04a and 1-05a version !!!
old version - cause  rare pool switch stuck bug, miner sometimes got stuck when entering or leaving dev fee period...
