I love it how folks will say something like there are many other coins more profitable to mine, but then won't give any detail. #fakenews 

Most the major mine-able coins dropped around 20%, but Pigeoncoin stayed about the same which now makes it still one of the more profitable to mine!

Do I understand right that I need to be minimum a Junior member and then I can join the bounty? Or can I go for airdrops until I have become a junior member? It would be a good way to support the business also…

The dev fund is for developers to further the project's progress. Our newest dev came to us with a proposal for a way to introduce masternodes as our data caching layer for our social app and any community dapps. He has experience implementing MN into coins. The funds will be controlled by our elected community representatives (vote happening right now https://strawpoll.com/512h4y1h) so anyone with a decent proposal, and experience to implement it, will be able to canvass their ideas to our reps and community for funding.

REDEN, XGALAXY, PHASE and a few coins that have yet to be launched. We've actually found a decent use case for masternodes. We needed a platform and reward base for our data caching layer. By using MN we are utilising an already existing tech for easier implementation with a reward mechanism already built into it. As you rightly mentioned, there are costs to running a MN and there will be additional cost for these nodes to cache data. MN will provide a fast and decentralised data layer that reward the MN operator for hosting data. Once the data caching layer is operational, we will then introduce our social app to run on it. The data caching layer will be available to the wider crypto community for the development of other dapps. The open source, decentralised data caching layer will be the real innovation and provide a platform for many other possibilities.

I find that the reward structure is balanced. There's a use case, which is pretty rare. I'm waiting to hear more about the team. I started mining it from the beginning. They started the bounty campaign and I think if they can create a community, it could be a success.

Pigeoncoin is direct competitor to Ravencoin if I am not wrong this is what I got few months ago when first time I came here. That time it wasn't accessible not being on exchanges. I don't underestimate its potential but forgetting about it worked well for me as now I can pick them up at more attractive price. I also will expect big exchange at least one.
