Thats more then a couple to be sure.   I just thought of one coloraly to Covid-19 that I hadnt considered but quite significant which is if sports betting is cancelled and a fair amount of BTC usage is for such betting then its possibly a far greater negative for BTC then normal.  I thought BTC should gain at least slightly from the idea that paper money can transmit the virus if not careful so elevating alternatives though FIAT can be digital its relevant that crypto is more useful online, remote, etc.
   However the gambling element could be a bigger deal, I would highlight that esports betting is possible too though not half as big as 'real' sports it is a competitive team based game often and has millions of players/viewers potentially.

Liquidations happened on massive scale and people have to close their positions to avoid liquidations (or at least they tried and failed) on some of the markets they participated in. I believe most of them were too late and that is reasons why we saw huge liquidations within that day. Everything fell, not only bitcoin. That was a very chaotic situation of all markets.

Now, looks at the pandemic, has it been changed so far? Not yet, but people started gradually stop their panic sellings and now they have faith on the market again. For bitcoin prediction, it is better to see the progress of pandemic in the Europe and the USA., maybe in the Australia next 2 weeks, then we will have better overview on next price action.

@betwrong this is one bet that I would happily loose just to see bitcoin prices shoot upwards from the levels I have selected, but at this stage there’s so much uncertainty that it’s impossible to choose a correct level. Further I’ll agree with you that’s it best to wait for the last day to place a bet, but even then I doubt that someone will be able to win this bet as it’s not going to be easy to guess the correct level of bitcoin prices on 1st April.

Worst case scenario is that we lose populations who are susceptible to flu. But until I hear someone between 18-40 die from it, I do not think the consequences will be so terrible.

Yes, predicting Bitcoin price with an accuracy of $500 is almost impossible these days. However, there is a betting strategy I personally going to use: if you bet the same amount on 6 price ranges, and of one your bets wins, you will win some money in the case the outcome odds are above 10.00 for all those bets.

FED has done some relief movements so that stocks would go up again and people would reinvest their money and all of that, however the stock markets are still going down. I am not entirely sure what else could be done, we literally took inflation over crashing economy and even that didn't worked. Bitcoin is obviously affected, it was around $5.6k at one point yesterday because of the news but today looking at the stock markets and the general economical situation it went down under $5k again.

I don't know what is ahead of us, I think it will become one of the biggest economical crisis we have ever seen if this keeps up, it just goes negative after negative everywhere and that will probably hurt us in the long run AND the short run by the looks of it.
