Layer in the bets, put a placer there.     Say at month start, go all the way to the 200 day average for long term and put down some satoshi on that because it always has a gravity drawing us back.   It'll start the cogs turning and give you time to weigh it up for a proper bet in a few days or couple weeks later even.   Thats what I try to do anyhow and I pull my hair out trying to decide but yea July was bullish I suddenly realised at the last moment there, small bet but I should have added more.    Just look at it today      Bullwhip effect is what I call this, its always a surprise every time.

I would say waiting for until the last second could work out if you are not sure about what it will do, but when you know what it will be by the end of the month you could bet anytime you want. None of us can really know what it will be like by the end, but I doubt few days could change that, you are already predicting way beforehand and that means you are going to definitely just guess and that is why I believe that there should be some sort of realization that you are going to just pick something that makes you feel comfortable even with or without waiting for the last day.

Well the site clearly says "Early bets have a higher weight and will get a bigger share of the prize pool." ... so the people waiting until the last moment to bet will not make a large profit on their bets if they are successful with that strategy. 

Some people wants to use Fiat trading strategies to predict the price and they forget that Bitcoin is like no other Commodity/Currency out there. This is not some Fiat currency with almost no volatility or a stable commodity like Gold.... they should just throw the dice and gamble like the rest of us.

Can you explain to me what you mean? Isn't such an app made by a developer realistic? I see that this is a paid app even though it is in early access and in development.

@Juggy777, Right, I did what I had to do. Flag as inappropriate: copycat or impersonation. Others should do the same to remove it from its place. For some reason, we have done something to reduce the scam and hacks attempt. It is also not possible to victimize others who are not yet aware and do not have a compromised account, because we know that others do not prioritize security and protection like 2FA.

Few hours wouldn't change anything, but few days could. Remember that we are not predicting "way beforehand", when placing our bet in the last day, we are predicting just one week beforehand. Placing you bet as early as possible you can get your win doubled("Time Weight Multiplier of 99x will have a weight of 199%") in the best case scenario, but your chances of being wrong, and winning nothing at all, are very high when you bet 4 weeks beforehand, compared to betting 3 weeks later.

Do not take the risk with all these terrible apps even if they are not malicious they may not be secure at all.
