One thing is the price of Bitcoin and another thing is what happens to the price of shitcoins. I am a long term investor in Bitcoin and in the stock market, I have been for quite a few years now. But to think that shitcoins are going to behave like the Bitcoin or the S&P 500 is quite naive because in most cases the only thing they are good for is to lose purchasing power in terms of Bitcoin. That is when they are not part of pump and dump schemes from which only a few benefit.

Regarding the FUN token, I see it quite wrong. Today it is even going down in $ terms. I think all of us who buy are at a clear loss whether we reference it to the Bitcoin or the dollar. And I also think this is not what the Freebitco.in team expected.

I invested in the token, and it is the only time I have invested in a shitcoin, because Freebitco.in is behind the project, but I plan to cut losses on March 15 and forget about it.

It's up to you, but I'll just continue to hold it since until FBC announced about using it, I almost forgot FunFair existed.

Also, just a few cents so no point cutting losses unless you've purchased a substantial amount, like 100 grand. I'm only holding ~5K so I'd just leave them be as I get my share of free spins and some other goodies.

I put a small bet on the $60,001 to $75,000 range and within about an hour of me doing so, the price has been in free-fall causing the odds to open out as other price ranges have wagers placed on them.

It'd be funny if once betting stops for this month and the price reverts and manages to fall over the $60,001 line for me.

Freebitco.in demand isn't able to drive the price up in the first weeks and the main argument to think that the price was going to appreciate was that they freebitco.in userbase would drive it up as it was announced and I already quoted in this same thread some pages ago.

In general, yes, especially if you plan to hodl FUN's for more than a year. Personally, I would not be embarrassed even by a threefold drop in the price, since I see the prospect in 10 daily rotations of the "Wheel of Fortune". But the prospect of losing your initial investment fivefold looks rather bleak ... unless you plan on hodling FUN until the next bullish season.

When it was launched it was pumped and then the price went dead until recently just like a month before freebitco.in announced the rewards program, but then just after few days it started to drop. Good for them but that does sound emotional to me and not rational at all, because if you are going to lose 99% of your investment, as it usually happens with many shitcoins, a couple of free spins more or a little bit more cashback/interest is not going to compensate your loss.

Im not going to continue this conversation with you because it seems to be derailing the thread from its proper discussion but this was announced during the bullish season and currently btc is going through bearish season so most alts ( including FUN ) would be taking hits as well. It probably could be a different story if it wasnt a bullish season though

Its a big site and bets have been open the whole month, I think he can rest easy his post is not going to turn the tide especially.   So far as I know the majority of users never come to this thread or maybe this forum, its a global site and though we do have other languages here its primarily English speakers based.
  I didnt especially jump on any prediction because the price itself is turbulent, how the heck am I supposed to know which way it goes.   I just left what I already bet, I can see the recent low is put there for a good reason and in theory its exceeded the down trend from Sunday peak.   But the idea of the sell, the momentum stall is more lasting then just that sell.   I'd guess sure we end month over 50k but thats already the favorite and Im not not with massive confidence it sticks.   We touched 48k area twice, so double bottom but it might need a bit more time.

Its pretty obvious to me they intend to add benefits for the long term FUN holders its not negating any base claim or free element already there.   The free spin comes from being signed upto the newsletter and its once a day, the extra chances enhance that greatly hence the reason to hold.   Same for every benefit, its not stopping the original operation of the site.   Mostly anyone who is long term on the site is better off to hold some, I think people need to get over the price variance as BTC is moving around like a ship in a storm things will get thrown around.   You must hold for a year to really benefit best anyway, nobody expected Bitcoin to sail perfectly stable over a year surely.

What I understand is non-token holders who are actively placing bets or playing games will continue to receive one free spin daily. FUN holders will get more depending on the amount of tokens they have and the period they held.
